  1. Just looked throught the various paint code threads on here and a couple of paint places online & no mention of LC92 so would assume it's a typo. LC9Z is definitely black magic / diamond black (VW have a different name for it to Audi / Seat). The other (solid) black is L041, which is what my loop was.
  2. Simple answer is no. The whole point of this forum is as a resource to Lupo owners, old & new. We have never wanted to force people into contributing to it's up keep, which is why the Premium Membership is optional, and not an annually renewable thing anymore. We get a reasonable amount of money from the google adverts which covers the majority of the running costs (hosting etc) and the premium memberships & continued support of those who have donated previously covers the remainder of the costs - and is greatly appreciated. Stickers do exist - I have about 20 of the current style ones left (black or red). As I paid for the last two lots of stickers myself, I'm a little reluctant to cough up my own money to buy more stickers when it could take 2-3 years to sell them, hence wanting to sell the current stickers off first. I believe someone else is going to do some new stickers, which will be cut to order rather than ordered & paid for in advance. And yes, there have been a couple of tshirt orders previously and a design competition a little while back for the next lot of tshirts, but due to a complete lack of interest, was cancelled. We don't have the money to buy stock so these kinds of things have always been on the basis that we only order what people have already paid for. I have found on more than one occassion that people express an interest something, saying that they'd buy one / they definitely want one etc etc, but when it's time to put their money where their mouths are, suddenly change their mind. Another reason why i'm a bit reluctant to get any more merchandising made up. We've talked about keyrings, pens, mugs, tax disc holders, tshirts, hoodies, stickers and lanyards in the past - but nothing ever came of anything other than the stickers & tshirts. Not strictly true - see above.
  3. We actually had a better response to the Logo / Web URL stickers than to the old style stickers that had a picture!
  4. Unless you get them made so it's all one sticker (ie with a clear surround), that'll be an absolute bitch to get printed. The old website URL stickers were as small as they could manage for cut out type stickers, because of the size of the dots in the web address... I've still got about 20 of the old stickers (or so) and we talked about doing a sticker competition for the next batch, but after the fiasco of the tshirt design competition (and complete lack of orders thereafter), I'm loathed to spend my own money getting another batch of stickers made up - it's taken 2 1/2 years to sell the last lot...
  5. Spotted by one of the lads at work - black GTI, male driver - possibly my old GTI?!?
  6. I'm not 100% sold on the new classifieds, but on the basis that they create a lot less moderating work for the team, I think it's a step in the right direction. As has been said above, bumping was never allowed anyway, and there were several users that abused the old system so I think the new system should stay. I like that I've not had to flex my ban stick in a while.
  7. It was in 1999, I'd been driving almost 2 years but hadn't had my own car, and I bought a 1992 J reg Renault Clio (1.4RT in red). Was looking for a car for a few weeks, and went to the pub the night before going on my holidays and spotted it sat at a used car dealers on the way home from the pub - gave it a once over in the dark and sent my Dad to have a look the next day while I was at work, who test drove it & put a deposit on it for me. Left Dad with a signed blank cheque and a price limit and went on holiday leaving Dad to sort it all out for me - came back from my holidays to the car sitting on my parents driveway. I'd officially owned it 3 days by the time I got to sit in it & drive it for the first time! Owned it for 13 months, before having a blowout on the M25 at midnight, when I was driving back to University doing about 80mph. Wrote the car off as it span and hit the central reservation.
  8. My Dad has a 'vette. They rock. (He's got a '74 C3 Stingray) I'm from Essex, but I don't have a lupo anymore.

  16. I think about 12 people turned up to the last attempt? Would be worth trying again, but keeping it informal - if you make it a "show" and charge people entry fees, there's all manner of problems (insurance for example), so something like we did previously would be sensible - find a campsite that is vaguely central, speak to the campsite owners, pick a date and everyone books & pays for their own camping?
  17. Sorry to point out the obvious, but in terms of the forum, by coming on here to post this, you were already back.
  18. Yep, I used them to get toyos for my lupo a few years ago - very good service. Although as said above, Camskill were slightly cheaper the next time I needed tyres (and were slightly quicker getting the tyres ot me - not that mytyres were particularly slow)
  19. Please do not post multiple threads of the same thing, one will suffice. Please also note that Club Lupo has terms & conditions regarding "Traders" using the forum to advertise their products & services, which can be found here: http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showannouncement=1&f=24
