One alloy has kerbing marks on the lip, others are fine just minor marks on them Both front tyres are worn and will need changing, 1 rear tyre is on 6mm the other is on 3mm of tread so it will need changing soon. Comes with spigot rings from 67.1-57.1 for VW £300 Ono Collection from stroud J13 M5
  4. Will take £2250 with the wheels and coilovers Or £2000 without them Anyone interested?
  5. 1.4tdi sport in silver, covered 109k miles. Has no service book but a folder full of reciepts and invoices. Since I've owned it I've replaced the cam belt and water pump and a full service (Oil, air and fuel filters) at 101k, full exhaust system including cat (£250) new battery last month. Has always been maintained well. It's currently sat on Rota Grid alloys which are in perfect condition other than the NSF which has a bit of kerbing to it. It's also lowered on pro sport coilovers. Only downsides are the front grill mounts are broken so its held in with cable ties at the moment (I am trying to find a replacement) And the NS sill has a dent in it, I have been quoted £100 to have this repaired. £2250 with coilovers and wheels, could use a front tyre. £2000 without Any questions please feel free to message me.
  6. How much for both mirrors and OS driveshaft? Cheers
  7. It's been a while so thought I'd update this today. I got a polo 9n3 stubby aerial to fit as mine got broken by a monkey.. Coilovers arrived last week and finally got round to fitting them today. She's sitting nicely now just has one issue. The drivers driveshaft is rubbing on the chassis leg, have already raised it up a bit but needs to go up some more tomorrow. Other than that though it's all good. Some pictures with my mates polo 1.4tdi: Plan on getting the wind deflectors and rclick kit in the new year once Christmas is all out the way.
  8. So last week I gave her another clean especially the wheels, and used some supa guard alloy wheel protector. Should hopefully stop them getting quite so dirty and covered in brake dust! This is the stuff I used. Here's the car cleaned with it on and tyre shine I also treated the windscreen with Rain X rain repellent, brilliant stuff barely have to use the wipers while I'm going along now the water just flys off, will try and get a video of it soon Anyway, we went to Longleat Safari park this weekend and met this little guy.. Looking suspicious on the roof This is the result.. So now I'm on the look out for a stubby aerial (Sharan or MK6 golf?) and a 90mm rear badge anyone have a part number for these? I've been quoted £300 to fix the damage to the passenger side sill you can see in the pictures above and to colour code the lower front and rear bumpers. It's either this or have the sill repaired and get GTI kit on there? Coilovers are waiting till next payday now, going to get some wind deflectors soon as well I'm in need of remote central locking with all this weather as well, is the Rclick kit a good quality as good as OEM quality? Finally my headlights are Awful at night, was considering getting some GTI projectors, anyone know of any cheap and whether they are a simple fit or a pain in the ass? Swebster94
  9. The tyres turned up today so I fitted them in my lunch and put them on the car. Badly in need of lowering now but still looks good. Gunna get some spacers on the rear an possibly some small spacers on the front once it's lowered. Haven't got any rota centre caps yet either but the vw ones from my sport alloys fit in well so they will have to do for now! Pictures:
  10. Tyres are ordered from tyreleader.co.uk now and should be here within 48hrs then I will be fitting them straight away. Will post pics once they are on the car! Next thing to look into is coilovers, anyone recommend any cheap ones? I'm looking at ta technix from kam racing as they are the cheapest I can find including VAT and they get a good rating on the website. Anyone got these and know if they are any good??
  11. This weekend I tried wrapping my drivers door card with black alcantara material. I removed the door card and ripped the red material off the actual card and stuck the black alcantara on. It turned out alright over most of the door card but not too great at the back where the armrest bit ends it's all creased.. Will look into getting them done properly at some point.. Anyway here's some pictures of it This is the glue I used to stick it down, very strong stuff.. In process of sticking the material down The finished product: Will upload pics of it fitted tomorrow The rota grids are having to wait a bit longer till fitting now as I've got to wait till I can afford the tyres.. Think I'm going for some 185/45 15's on it as 195's may be slightly too wide.. Should be on by the end of the month though then just gotta get myself some coilovers!
  12. I hadn't even thought of that haha! I'll just hold out till some nmk4 seats come up. I'm not getting them for a month or so anyway, got other things to buy first. My alcantara material turned up today to wrap my door cards so I can loose the red with cats and mice on.. Will post more pictures up when I get round to doing them
  13. How easy was it to wire them in?? Hadn't actually thought of looking for bora ones! Do the a3 ones have the same rails as lupo and mk4 golf or the same as the TT style??
  14. Hopefully they will, just hoping they will look alright and won't rub with 195/45 15's on as I can get them cheaper than any other size haha Yeah it's just a case of finding the right ones for the right price really, I want heated ones so they are obviously more expensive
