  1. wanted for both sides as I'm fed up of changing electric ones, winder handles would be nice too if anyone has them
  2. electric windows along with clutch pedal box issues are the most common problems in any Lupo/Arosa I'd stay manual

  4. removing weights the only option then
  5. I've just bought another Arosa, this time its got a 1.7ltr taxi engine in it, are there any mods that can be done cheaply and simply to improve its performance
  6. here's a gumtree link for you http://www.gumtree.com/p/other-car-parts-accessories/vw-lupo-gti-front-seats/1110142402
  7. I owned a 16v Scirroco Mk 2 for many years, it lost its power steering in its conversion to rhd, steering had great feel at speed and around corners but due to the weight over the front wheels [and I accept your lump is lighter] it was a nightmare in tight parking slots. I really wouldn't do it.
  8. even engine mountings, how many miles has the car done
  9. why would you want to, it will make parking very difficult
  10. were these slightly more powerful engines ever fitted to UK cars and if so what are the key electronic/mech differences with the 100 bhp engines
  11. it does look nice, I withdraw my comment about the price
  12. It was registered in April 2001 on a Y Plate
  13. £105 from SEAT dealer
  14. I am going to ask my local dealer how much a key from them will be
  15. Hi, my Arosa Sport's remote key has gone missing leaving me with just the one key, so today I had a "coded" key cut with a chip coded to my car...or so I thought. The key will illuminate the ignition, showing all the potential fault codes and warnings, will operate the starter motor but it will not fire up. Returning the key to the shop, the supplier double checked the coding and concluded that the code had changed and that the chip in my original key is continually changing. Does this make sense to anyone here
  16. 3 Questions do you know how it was lowered, please tell me it wasn't with an axle grinder to the springs, does it have aircon and can you give detail of the accident. £2k is a little rich though
  17. I have recently fitted a stainless steel item so the standard one is available, was cut to remove so will need sleeving or welding around this new joint £20 collection only, Swansea area 07518 785 005
  18. come on someone must have tried this
  19. has anyone tried swapping an old style front end for the 2000 on Mk 2 version, is it even possible
  20. thanks for that one, I'm watching a Arosa auto on e-bay too that's a bit closer to home
  21. I've given myself another rotator cuff injury this time on my left shoulder, so am forced to consider using an auto at least till it repairs itself, is the Lupo auto any good, at least it shouldn't have any pedal box issues
  22. Always buy on condition, my Arosa Sport has 120k miles, no history and lots of owners but the interior and exterior are mint so the car has been cared for. By condition I mean how it drives too.
  23. don't forget that your car has drum rear brakes whereas the sport has discs, it makes quite a difference
