  1. Thanks! I'd have to agree with you on that one
  2. Cheers, the colour has such a nice shine to it when it's been waxed!
  3. Few updates, nothing too fancy! Needed new ball joints to pass it's MOT. Wishbones were changed too. The catalytic convertor had a nasty split in it so that also had to be replaced to pass the MOT as it was failing on emissions. I also decided to change the orange indicator bulbs for clear ones. I honestly didn't think it would make too much of a difference but i think it looks 100x better. Looks more modern. New Wishbones: Orange Bulbs: Clear Bulbs Apologies for the lack of updates and rubbish iPhone pictures
  4. Mine are filthy haha! May have to get some of that, cheers
  5. What are you using to clean your door cards? Need some stuff for mine and also my seats!
  6. Hi mate, does the Arosa binnacle fit straight in? Also looking forward to seeing your wheels!
  7. Your headlights look so clear! Have they always been like that or have you used anything to make them clearer? Car is looking good by the way
  8. Thanks! It'll be interesting to see how it looks lowered on these wheels.
  9. Not updated in a while due to funds. Good and bad news. Good - I'll hopefully be getting some coilovers in around a month. Bad - My car got scraped by another in a car park and they decided not to stick around. Luckily I managed to polish it out! Result of being driven into. How the car looks at the mo.
  10. The wheels really suit the car! Good picture too! ^
  11. Nothing much to update you with but I'm sat on the train to Silverstone to go and watch the F1 tomorrow so I thought I'd post some stuff on here. I decided to de-badge the boot, I wasn't so sure on how it looked at first but it's definitely grown on me. I think it looks loads better now! Before After Also, some pics of my mates Lupo from CumbriaVAG and an Arosa I liked, not sure if the Arosa owner is on the forum. Next Job is to de-wiper. Cheers
  12. Only just realised you're in Blackpool, I'm not far from there! Would love to see this!
  13. Love this car and what you've done with it! My favourite Loop!
  14. Cheers mate! I don't see many in this colour about!
  15. Found them Definitely worth doing! Rubber Bush Replacement - http://www.amazon.co.uk/OB061208-Plain-Oilite-Bearing-Bush/dp/B00DEDEURE/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403470555&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=ob061208+plain+oolite+bearing+bush
  16. There is a link to them on a thread on here somewhere I think
  17. Small and boring Update: Both doors were making a horrible cracking/creaking noise when opening and closing. I read a topic on here saying to replace the rubber bushes with metal ones. At 88p each it was a no brainer really! So drilled the rubber ones out and replaced with metal ones, huge difference Old Rubber Bush: New Metal Bush: Also going to CumbriaVAG tomorrow in my mates Lupo who's not on the forum! Anyone else going?
  18. You should update it! and yeah I had a look in the book last night. Thank you, got lots of little things to do to it soon
  19. Got a new steering wheel, eBay bargain! Bought a Lupo GTI steering wheel which looks exactly the same as the standard Lupo wheel except it has a leather finish and red stitching. The only difficult part of changing the steering wheels over was removing the air bag, other than that it was fairly straight forward. Used some Auto Glym leather cleaner on the wheel when it was on the car to get rid of the shiny finish on the wheel. There's a tiny little scuff in the top but other than that it's fine and much better than the discoloured standard plastic wheel. 20. It is almost a twin! Just taken a look at yours, I like it:) Cheers for telling me the bhp, i've seen a few 1.4s loops that have a different engine, guessing they have a different bhp?
  21. Haha no worries I knew what you meant. Thank you
  22. Yeah it's on 60mm springs front and rear (I think) not 100% sure as they were on the car when i bought it. Doesn't look too bad but still want it a bit lower.
