  1. Right all seems to be working now. Main issue I have is still after changing the spark plugs (made a lot of difference) is still very lumpy ticking over. Took it for a long drive, using long gear changing to clear it out abit but still chugging. Not as bad. Even town driving she chugs bless her.... What's next? Is there anything I need to clear out, any filters etc. air filter is fine and pipes seem to be ok too....I'm stuck now! As for rich, I will give you the guided tour next time you get lost lol
  2. Thanks again for the help guys. Turns out the float was stuck and all working now. Good job really as the tank was nearly full. Temp gauge working, give it a good run, went up then down again after cooling off. I'm having the plugs done in the morning but to be honest think it maybe a joint in the exhaust that's loose. Abit chuggy for a 1L bless it Other then that the jom coilovers are a smooth ride and no other faults....except a really good valet is needed!
  3. Thanks for all replies. Yes it's road legal, just finished work for mot. It's had a full new exhaust front to back, brake pipes both sides and the rubber on the anti roll bar replaced. Running abit lumpy on the engine but not misfiring so may need the plugs/filters changing. All fluid levels are fine, the petrol light stays on even when fuel put in. I will take the car out for a long run to clear things out and heat it up to see if the gets the temp gauge and fan working too. Got it be the level has got stuck in the fuel relay or something daft like that??
  4. I have recently bought my little yellow lupo and need some advice. Both the fuel gauge and the temp gauge are stuck at the bottom with the petrol light on. Iv no idea how much fuel it has or what to put in just incase. My understanding from its last owner is that it's been sat a long time.....enough for the back drums to rust very badly. Is there some things I can check first before I falk out for new parts?
  5. Lol, certainly have problems! Will have a look, thank you
  6. Nice yellow arosa! Erm advice is about a couple of faults. Shall I post here or in the problem pages lol
  7. Hi all. I'm new to vw. Just bought myself a cracker! Yellow 1.0l lupo. Slightly modded but in need of some advise on a few things with it. Nice to meet you all and look forward to many replies xx
