  1. I have FK AK Streets. They're okay, only slightly more expensive than JOM coilovers. Still wish I waited a little longer and invested in some AP's though
  2. Is anyone going from Milton Keynes area?

    Arch Rolling

Can anywhere suggest somewhere to get my arches rolled im or around Milton Keynes? I don't wanna do it myself because it would most definitely go wrong!
  4. Thanks, I shall give that a go before UD x
  5. Could anyone recommend any cleaning products for my exhaust tips on my lupo gti? They aren't overly discoloured or anything but I want a polished finish on them for show season. I have seen some people mention Autoglym metal polish a few times but not much has actually been said about it. Thanks L xxx
  6. Beautiful! Just makes me impatient about sorting mine out
  7. From what I've read on the website I don't think there will be many trade stands either...
  8. Thanks, think I'm just gonna go for the day out.
  9. Think I'm going just to have a look. Gives me somthing to do for the day! Do they sell anything decent or is it just like a car boot type thing?
  10. Has anyone been to Dubfreeze? Its the 25th year its been run and I was wondering if it was any good? Its being held on the 16th February. The address is: Bingley Hall Staffs. Showground Weston Road (A518) Stafford, ST18 0BD L xxx
  11. My car will be off the road between Wednesday friday. Sending her off to get her MOT and have a full service so I can keep her history up
  12. Seen on wednesday 15th . It had Rota wheels on as far as I can remember. Looked tidy!
  13. True. I wish mine was lower but it only costs me an extra £30 a month to have a Lupo GTi instead of the Seat Arosa 1.0 that I did have.
  14. Doesn't matter how much you pay on insurance, the GTi is worth it.
  15. Nice! Sounds like I will be making a weekend of it then
  16. Fair enough. I'll probably sort out what I'm doing closer to the time I'll have you know I'm the most sensible person I know
  17. I'll either be down the night before if I can convince a few people to come with me, if not, I'll be on route at the crack of dawn as its going to take me just over 2 hours to drive up x
  18. Unfortunately, I'm having to sell my pots. I have posted this in the classified section, but if you are interested, or know anyone who is, you can PM me on here. Thanks L x
  19. You can get them on ebay but I'd be wary as certain transponders refuse to work with certain models. If I were you I wouldn't run the risk, just get one from a main dealer as at least they will be able to make sure you get the right one. Although, I don't know how vw dealership would feel about you not paying them for coding because you could do it yourself. They charge £90 for coding alone.
  20. If you have vagcom you should be able to do it yourself if you get the flip key. I know the transponders in the normal gti keys are a bit temperamental sometimes, and one of the leads needed to code the transponder to the car are about £40 on ebay, and to get a new blade cut for the flip key is roughly £40 to £50. I only know this because I lost my main key and my spare key only manually opens my car so I got a flip key quoted
  21. If you go to a locksmiths (I know some timpsons do it) they can get a flip key cut and coded for about £120 and they will also recode your current key to match as well so you can keep it as a spare. They do have to order the key from vw which takes up to 10 days as it will only have the lock/unlock buttons as opposed to the lock/unlock/boot buttons. If you go to vw, they charge just under £200 to do this. Hope this helps!
  22. My 99 Seat Arosa S didn't have central locking either
