  1. Received three of these switches from Skezza and installed two. They work great and can recommend them as a good value alternative to OEM switches
  2. I don't think so as the pin connector will be missing from the wiring loom in the car but I am sure Skezza can confirm.
  3. Not bad going given supposedly only 900 were sold. I would have thought there would be less than 844 left given the amount you see on here and eBay being broken for spares
  4. What is the offset on these wheels ?
  5. OK, thanks. Do they all have the one click functionality eg for an order of three?
  6. I am interested in these and had a few questions: 1) Are they the standard VW OEM colour ? 2) Does the Driver's side include the door lock etc in one block like the photo below ?
  7. Search is your friend See here: http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/97888-clublupo-graphics/
  8. Wow, I can see you are a very organised person Ben

    will these fit

In the photos, these are stamped as Borbet and hence look original. Also, the seller states they are original Borbet made in Germany. I think it was the just the centre caps that are not original but apparently (according to the seller) the centre caps have now been changed back to Borbet. As regards fit, they should fit but not sure about the 4x98mm PCD. The Lupo is 4x100mm Here is the photo from the seller's listing:
  11. Sods law. When you don't want to sell, you get offers. When you come to sell, no one around !
  12. I was wondering if other people have had people trying to buy their Lupo GTi in the street, so to speak. The first time, a couple of months ago, someone left a note on my windscreen with their number saying they want to buy my wolfie and just now, I popped to the local newsagent and as I got out the car, someone stopped me, told me how much they love them and asked if I wanted to sell it. When I told him it wasn't for sale, he said he would give me a great offer. I declined, obviously. Do any of you have this happen to you ? I put it down to the rarity of the little GTIs as I have only had this happen to me once before, when I had a Mk1 Focus RS but I believe these little GTi babies are even rarer.
  13. It is a dual action. I think it is the Megs one but would need to check. Liking the new intererior - looks fantastic
  14. Definitely check the front ARB bushes and the front lower wishbone bush. I had similar symptoms and it was these. Replaced with Powerflex bushes and all is fine now, if not even better
  15. Loving the attention to detail. The car looks absolutely gorgeous. Mine could do with a machine polish and although I have one, a little scared to use it ! How did you do the grill ? Did you use cotton buds to get inside or something else ?
  16. Hi all, I was wondering if comeone could point out where the drainage holes are on a Lupo GTI. Also, any recommendations on the best way to clean them out ? Given its age, I wanted to make sure they are clean so as to avoid problems in the future. Thx
  17. Lovely job on the paint there Clayton. I have a machine polisher but scared to use it in my beloved Lupo !
  18. Thanks guys. I guess coin trays sounds the most plausible.
  19. I would defo use the 2008 but not the 2003. At 11 years old the rubber will have gone hard (compared to new manufactruere spec) which means braking distances will be extended
  20. Like the OEM style aux socket install but had a question that has been bugging me. In the photo above, where the wire is coming out of, what is it ? I can't work out what VW thought that would be used for ?
  21. I think it may be a fair few years though. If you look at older hot hatches like the the Clio Williams, which was pretty much an iconic car in its day and can still hold its own against modern hot hatches, prices are still pretty depressed. 1994-5 versions go for around £3,500
  22. Unless it is super-cheap, I wouldn't. The problem with no service history (and by that I mean no stamped service book and/or receipts showing mileage) is that you have no way of verifying the actual mileage. Yes, you can use the MOT history check but I think that only goes back 5 years at the moment which is not much good for a 12 year old car. Also, if the owner(s) have not been that meticulous with the paperwork they may not have been meticulous with its upkeep. Also, bear in mind that if and when you come to sell, the next buyer will be thinking the same. BUT, as I said at the start, there is always a price that will shift a car with no service history
