  1. The easiest thing would be to wire them into the interior light I guess, but I don't know much more about doing that... Really easy to change the bulb, just use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the plastic housing.
  2. Hi Kailum, I think anything that has '264' and 42-45mm should be fine, and of course looks like the festoon type. E.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-6-LED-264-42mm-WHITE-NUMBER-PLATE-INTERIOR-LIGHT-/300590859702?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45fc9c85b6 would be fine
  3. Edit: Turns out the door is actually not sitting tight enough, hence no proper seal towards the top and with heavy rain it gets through. Seen a few posts about adjusting the keeper where the catch sits, is that easy enough to do with a spline tool?
  4. Discovered with the really bad rain lately that I have a leak on the driver's side, which makes sense given the huge watermark stain when I bought the car (assumed it was something else..) The window is a bit finicky but is definitely all the way up, it seems like from the rubber strip above that. Any idea where to start diagnosing/fixing it? Would getting a new rubber strip sort it?
  5. Does anyone know where to get the mat part of the clips needed to fix the mats down? I didn't even notice til I got some mats that the top part is totally missing... can't find anything anywhere that would seem to work. Otherwise I guess I need to try and take the original base part of clips out of the carpet and fit new ones completely.
  6. Looks really good! I'm gonna try doing this soon too. Not sure whether to do the doors as well though...
  7. Green one here, if planning to make more
  8. Not the most exciting part needed, but one of my winders has the round bit you hold snapped, so it keeps falling out - tried all sorts of gluing bits on the back, but really I just need a replacement to clip in. Any one happen to have one spare or know whether any old VW winder handle from ebay is likely to fit?
  9. Went to Timpsons today to see how much they'd charge for this, but apparently the key came up as 'Phillips crypto - go to main dealer only' on their machine I guess I'll have to find an independent person in London who could do it, or a combination of ebay and google for programming one myself... any advice welcome!
  10. sharpelupo do they need anything other than the 'normal' key to program it?
  11. Thanks guys very helpful
  12. Has anyone had to get a replacement spare key made? I just got a quote of 129 from local VW dealer. Seems a bit pricey for standard key (no fob or central locking). Any recommendations?
  13. Hi guys, got my Lupo yesterday. Good price, and hopefully not too much wrong - need to check tyres and alignment as it pulls slightly to the right. Also not sure the cambelt was replaced at 60k...which might be more important! I'll put some pics soon. I think it's the colour 'fresco' green?
