I want to start getting more out of this car bi I'm not sure what I should do first and what things would benefit being done before or after others. Re-maps are standard an I would wnt to do it on a rolling road to get maximum out of the remap I was wondering what else people have found to be good starting points. I'm not sure if all of these would help entirely or to what extent. I am interested to what people could add the list. - EGR delete - de cat - Three branch manifold - Panel filter (forced/ram air intake?) - Diesel purge - Bigger fuel pump If anyone could help it will be muchly appreciated

Yeah I drilled the rivets and tried the door speaker on the drivers side and it's definitely the speaker. It seems to only produce half the power of the other one. Think I'm going to have to upgrade. Also I think someone did compensate the balance an the tweeter is really tinny and rattles a little at higher volumes. Think I'm going to have to upgrade haha

If I got both sets of lenses, how hard do you reckon it'll be to wire them in

On the left hand side of the car there seems to be a los in sound levels. Iv checked the balance on each side via two HU and the end wires seem pretty original (intact). Next step I'm going to take is to drill the rivets, saith the right and left driver speaker and see what happens. If anyone could help otherwise that could be useful. The car has been fitted with a spal aftermarket remote locking system before I had it. It's mounted under the passenger side dash (footwell) qnd don't know if that would have affected anything if someone wired it in wrong.

I wish these things came with measurements! Haha

What bulbs are used in the normal indicator lens. (Do you need GTi lenses as well?)

This is part of my research. Asking a forum full of knowledgeable people like yourself and a mix of people who have both setups to find out what problems were faced while installingand what to do or not to do. I am interested if the GTis have a projector that moves or a blanking plate that cuts the beam down for dipped beam?

Did you ever manage this? Did you have to relocate ISO fix points, middle mounting points of upper rear and how Sisyphus change the brackets for the top?

What's the difference with them and the conversion kits available for H3

I luckily have bullet connectors. But I used a small screwdriver to flatten the pin's barb and switched the two around. Now it's holding up good nicely. Thank you for your help.

If get GTi headlights (I will also get the washers, pump and reservoir). - Do they need to wire in differently for full beam or washers to come out? - Do I need a different washer bottle to fill the headlight washer reservoir? - do the jets fit straight in or will they need brackets making up (are there and specific parts I'll need for mounting). - can the ballasts/bulbs Wattage be upgraded from 35W which I think are also 4500k as standard Bi-xenon (will not be bought with washers) - Companies used and trusted? - What is needed to wire the converters in to the head light shells and the full/dip beam

What are the wiring labels for base blocks as I'm having memory issues. I have a ripspeed dv740 (with the car) Also does anyone know how to use the coax wiring? What's the best way to wire in rear speakers?

There are the seats from the golf, bora, leon and audi sun visors I've heard fit from 9n and Mk4. heard of someone fitting the Mk4 arm rest but haven't seen it. I was wondering about wing mirrors gear knobs steering wheels glove box? (I've seen but don't know if its custom) etc..

I am interested into what people have managed to put into a lupo from other VAG vehicles with minor modifications if needed.

I've bought a set of Mk4 recaros and I need to take the bottom seat cover off. I have - removed the plastic trim - undone the star drive bolts - unhooked the plastic bits that hold it to the frame all i have to do now is remove the plastic bits that hoot to the metal bar that runs through the foam. I have started this but i seem to be pulling the bar out of the foam and i am finding it hard to access the clips to move the hook to then pull the cover off does anyone have pictures or suggested techniques to separate the clothe from the foam without damaging it any further.
