You could go for a good suspension kit of a fixed height. 40 or 60 mm drop and they're designed for it

My tdi didn't come with gti seats as standard.. I'd double check that

I think the Mk1 front end looks a lot better smooth. A lot of gaps and lines etc...

I had one that wasn't even connected when I bought it. Found the bolt for it holding the window mech in... how they managed that is beyond me

How did you mount the mk5 badge so flush to the boot?

Ground down my drivers side more to try and clear the carpet but it's still getting stuck I ground it so thin, the welds cracked so I welded them up + a little more width for structural support. Has anyone modified these further so that they don't catch at all? Thinking of grinding the welds out and beating the panel deeper so it can be ground further down, creating more clearance Thanks Keelan

Rather have it as functional as possible if I'm honest. Someone suggested wiring it to the ignition live so it is possible to open when live Also got suggested that the mk6 badge is better looking. I don't fancy having th mk5 hump that leads up to it, I'd rather have the recessof the polo

I'm interested in doing the mk5 ect. Boot badge retrofit. does anyone know what sizeD diameter badges are available? What options of fitment is there? I know you can cut and shut a mk5 badge with a square extra surround from the mk5 boot. I'm interested into how casperGTi did his as it looks like he made the hole to fit but I'm interested how people have kept them water tight and muting on the inside. Also how many people have wired the central locking in and is it controlled on a separate button? Any help is welcome. Pictures appreciated too. Thanks Keelan

Welcome to the group! Hopefully you can have a look around and search for mods. The how to section is a brilliant start to read (where applicable) and a lot of people are willing to help. I also read members rides which are always very informative. Hope you catch the bug and hope to see pictures There is a how to for that too!

These are the only two I use.. I normall cross reference one to the other. I used to use vagcat which is as simple as signing up anf then using it just the same

Thas such a crisp picture! I drove from South Devon to bristol (meant to be 1.5 hours and it took 2) and there was rain, sleet, snow, and hail. By the time I got there, there was snow on my roof, bonnet and on my scuttle. It's safe to say my car is no where near as clean as yours. At the moment it's brownish grey when it's meant to be black haha! -
There is a lot of mini h1/ds2 videos and it doesn't look to be too difficult of a mod. As far as I can see, not much more than what has been done here.
