worked it out now, just needed to be braver with the pulling, no bolts like my Passat, all sorted -

hi all, just got myself a lupo gti, great little motor, just wondering if anyone can explain the right way to remove the plastic engine cover so I can change the air filter as I don't wanna break it ? any help greatly appreciated
