  1. The eagle eyed among you will also notice I've added a front splitter (which I think really sets the car off) and also changed the wheels back to the ROTA's. I still have the bronze Stuttgarts, but they'll be used mainly for track days as I think the ROTA's suit this car much better.
  2. Back to looking it's best now after a new front bumper, front wing, passenger door, new lights, removing the rear quarter dents and a half respray. I also treated it to a little something...
  3. £2k absolute max in my opinion. Running GTI's are going from as little as £2000 at the moment and by the time you've spent £850 on this, you could have got a really nice example.
  4. If it's R.A.D's old one, I think the owner after them sold it at last. Unless it's been sold again since then.
  5. I like the direction you've now taken the car and the OZ's suit it really well.
  6. They might not fit if they're 8/9J, if they're a really low offset, or he's running the car quite low...
  7. You chose an Arosa over an MX5?! From a practical point of view, I can see why, but MX5's are a hoot to drive and own, constant smiles everywhere you go (I'm on my second). Anyway regarding your stripe, it just looks like the previous owner added it to the car. If I'm mistaken however, I'm sure someone will be along to correct me! Edit to add: I own a Lupo as well as an MX5 btw.
  8. did your keyrings turn up okay mate? Just wanted to check with you being in Sweden!
  9. I thought all (well most) Rota's were made to their standard CB 67.1mm and then spigot rings were used to match each particular vehicle. I have a set of Rota RB's for my MX5 and they are 67.1mm until the spigot rings bring the CB down to make them fit on to the Mazda. Probably a silly question, but are you sure the wheels haven't got spigot rings fitted OP?
  10. Rear seats are easy once you know how, takes no more than 5 minutes to get them out! As Skezza's said, the steering wheel's a right pain!
  11. Rear seat removal is really straightforward, see this thread: Steering wheel removal is a bit of a pain yes, see here:
  12. Sent both orders out in the post tonight, cheers guys!
  13. Postage to Sweden will be £3. So total price would be £7 for one, then an additional £5 per keyring if you wanted another.
  14. I have a set of lettering that I took off my Lupo and have stored ever since. Will need to have the tape re-attaching but the condition is great/as new (will double check this if you're interested). Make me an offer?
  15. To fit a MOMO steering wheel, you will indeed need a boss kit. Ebay is probably your cheapest bet, but Demon Tweeks also stock them. Here's a link for you - http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/bosses-fitting-kits/car/volkswagen/lupo-99-05/momo-steering-wheel-boss-kit
  16. Some are tightening down on tyre stretch, but only if you really stand out and they deem it unsafe as there is no real concrete law on the matter. 195/50/15 on a 8J rim would give some stretch, but not enough to really stand out or get done for imo. Running 165/45/15 on a 8J rim might get you in some bother though...
  17. If the alloy protrudes from the body, it's illegal. Looking at yours, I'd say it was illegal.
