    hi chaps i still have the car, drove it round for about a month and the engine was trash so I'm building a cammed 1.6 gti engine for it, i have also had the paint work sorted out along with a new bonnet. will keep you up dated when i get the new engine in. (Photos before the paint work)

    Well I have just baugh YB05GYU and it is still not fixed been sat under a tree in Leicester for about 2 years! It still has the leather seats and the AC still works, I have removed the front end and started buying replacement parts for it.

    No I have a 1.6 inlet of a polo fits well

    Right I managed to get my self a lupo sport rocker cover and cams and I wanted to know will I be able to fit them to my lupo 1.4s (75bhp) I have had a look into it and as far as I can tell they both don't have VVT and that the sport inlet cam is bigger, in this case can I just swap the cams out of the lupo sport rocker cover and put them in my lupo 1.4s one?

    Well I have got that manifold on now with a 2L throttle body and I have the 1.8t injectors on, all fits well just need to make a bracket to hold the cable

    I am wanting to upgrade my throttle body on my lupo 1.4s 16v (AHW engine) been told that the polo 1.4 16v AFH engine throttle body is a straight swop is this right? And which polo is that off 6n2? And I want to upgrade my inlet manifold as I have a ko3 turbo on my lupo and been told I could crack it with the boost? Been told I can use the polo AFH inlet manifold as well but as far as I know they are still plastic :/ Any help would be nice

    Managed to get some forged low compression pistons sorted so she will be running 8.5:1 but would it be worth geting forged connecting rods or is it just a waste of £££

    Well think I will just run her low boost and see how she gose might get some low compretion forged pistons but its just finding some where that can make me some

    I spoke to people about the CR and I got told 9:1 would be good and to get this I would need a 1.6mm gasket? But why would I be better running 8.5:1 with a 2.5mm gasket?
