    It still works fine, I don't have the time to do an engine change over Xmas and I'm swapping over to the new car next week. She'll probably keep going for quite a while and i trust her to get me to work and back every day

    Loopy Loo is up for sale Few scuffs and front bumper needs fixing or replacing due to a crack. Miles at 113k. The rings are going so can be smokey if you rev it high and uses more oil than normal I was going to replace the engine as only £150 but been offered a car I can't refuse. On borbets bs' s and lowered on fk's. Centre section has got a bit of a blow but may be able to get this sorted in the next week. £950 as is. I will sell the wheels on their own for £400.

    It's never effected mine... If you spray the whole car and let it soak maybe... But you only need to be doing like the bottom of doors and front if there's flies and maybe the odd bird poop.

    I saw your Lupo at Dubfiction and it sounded awesome! can you tell me more about the BMC CDA induction kit etc? Ive been online and can only see it for 1.4s or will that be the same? how did you get it for so cheap? Fancy telling me the secrets? Im jelous of your noises

    Okay car is finally running, however, my headlight, front indicator and side repeater on the passenger side aren't working! The rear is okay and drivers side is fine. I've checked the fuses and that's okay, is there a relay or anything? I refuse to believe all 3 bulbs have gone! Lol

    Sent ecu off to cc tuning and he sent it back next day, got it back today just plugged it in and she is running! What amazing service!!!

    Okay so the guy has done the ecu and should have it back tomorrow, basically the immobiliser had a code, the key had a code but the ecu didn't? If it's still not starting I'll try thatdanoid. Yeah tried with both the keys, sorry for the slow replies guys just been working none stop over the weekend! And you have no idea! I'm having to get the bus to and from work and today was sunny and I got a lift, now it's thunder and lightening and I'm in shorts!! Luckily nothing white but I'm still going to look like a drowned rat!

    Okay so it's been to the garadge pump and relay are good, just me being paranoid lol! Deffo impbiliser, yeah it is firing in for a second now, classic immobiler codes coming up banks, low key signal etc, auto electriacian confirmed immo but can't touch it, met a guy at dubfiction, gonna post my immobiliser to him tomorrow and he will post it back same do so will hopefully have it back and in the car on Monday... Fingers crossed! I'm in manchester btw

    Sorry yeah, 100% not starter motor had it scanned again yesterday and came up as immobilised, won't mobilise. Had an auto electrician out who couldn't solve it(waiting to hear more from him) and an ecu company in Warrington want £120 just to look at the ecu..

    any idea on the difference between a 2001 fuel relay and a 2000? found loads of cheap ones for engines upto 200 but nothing from mine, lookslike it may be a dealer only thing? :S

    Yeah had it read just get O2 sensor but that wouldn't stop it from starting, it now won't start atall, when turning the key off and back on it's not priming, but take it out for a bit then it does, is that normal? Just turning over and occasionally might sound like it's about to kick in but doesn't

    Yeah it just set my radio back to the display setting and I can't remember how to turn it off I'm thinking it could be the fuel pump really and it's flooding it? But apparently a 2001 1.0 relay you can only get from the dealer, I've found ones that go upto 2000 online for cheap but not for 2001

    If I stall/park in the sun all day it will just turn over forever on end. Getting to the end of my tether and might just bin the engine lol!

    I know bits about a car but not too much technical stuff, it's a 2000 1.0, but yeah that looks like my engine without the cover/air box on. I'm gonna talk to euro parts tomorrow and get it dropped off, with the weather this hot I'm having to park my car in the corner of the car park under the trees and the amount of bird poop is impressive! Apart from it eating through my paint which means I'm gonna have to machine it all over again lol!

    It just turns over until it's cool enough, I've found a few on ebay but I'm gonna ring vw tomorrow and fingers crossed if they have one ill do it on Monday, is it hard to do? I'm gonna look for some guides online of you can recommend any. The reason temp sensor makes sense is because the temp gauge plays up whilst I'm driving, it'll completely drop down to 0 on idle then usually comes back up after a few feet lol
