  1. been a while so time for a little update, messed around with some engine dress up and fitted my new pressed plates & surrounds changed my mind several times on wheel colour, white & chrome, green and white, all white then went a bit mad Also fitted new headlamps, indicators and crystal side repeaters hopefully soon get round to smoking the headlamps and starting the interior/install
  2. Dare to be different. I know it's not to everyone's tastes but I like it
  3. Looking a bit more loved & low A gift from my little boy, can you guess he likes Lego?! Wanted something a bit different, so here it is....New tailgate sprayed and fitted
  4. just FK street Coilovers with the adjuster still in place
  5. Top job, its always a great feeling when you do the work yourself
  6. First time round it was cat D, had pretty much a new front end, wings, bumper, bonnet, and one side suspension. Second time, Cat C was just the door and wing! Thanks, It a great little project. Finally got round to buying some coilovers, Lupo's are too high as it as and parked next to the TypeR it looked like a monster truck! Looking better Waiting for it to settle in and once the 15" wheels are on adjust it some more Wheels are still very much in progress, but hopefully have them on soon Got a smoothed tailgate with a bit of a difference to go on next too
  7. Little update, progress has been slow but it's starting to take shape LuPea passed the vic test last month Time the to change the mashed door Looking slightly better Next the odd bump strips had to come off Lots of tar remover and a clay later.... By the looks of it a previous owner has tried to remover the strips with a knife, lots of scratches Luckily with some 2500grit they dont look so bad. Just needs a little bit more time and hopefully it wont be so noticable

Here is my scraphead survivor, Written off twice (cat D & cat C) found hiding in the scrapyard where i work. Fell in love and that was it My aim for the project is to build her up from salvage yards/eBay, all work done in house....quite literally! Mostly OS damage (wing, door and rear 1/4) thankfully nothing structural I dont have many photos as iv been working too hard to even pick up the camera, but so far she has had new brakes, exhaust and a full service. Managed to find a set of Lenso RS5 15" wheels in the yard needed a good refurb and ended up like this So far iv sourced a wing and door in the right colour and pulled out most of the dent from the rear quarter Next on the list is a set of coilovers, removing the rub strips and giving her a damn good polish Will get some more photos up once iv got the new panels on
  12. Evening all, Had my Fantasia green Lupo S for a couple of months after saving it from the scrapheap (I kid not!) LuPea was hiding at the bottom of the scrapyard where I work, typically female I saw her and that was it, a week later she was mine. Poor thing has been written off twice, cat D first, Cat C second time round. After quite a bit of hard work she was deemed fit for the road, sailed through her MOT this morning with no advisories. Now just the VIC test to pass. Il get a thread up in the members ride section soon Kimi
