Cheers mate, at the time I was a bit sceptical but these cars are made to be driven and everything about it now makes it a better drive? Haha it’s crossed my mind recently, but every time I drive it I fall back in love!

No major updates, had the gearbox fully rebuilt recently as the 3rd gear synchro decided to die! Otherwise i’ve just been enjoying the car, got some nice pictures over the bank holiday weekend??

Thanks! For road use i always have them on the softest setting due to our poor roads, then adjust them accordingly on track.

Update time, got hold of a set of OZ Superleggera’s, the lightest 15” wheel available. Had them finished in a Satin anthracite which i think looks fantastic. Wrapped in Yokohama AD08R’s, they are going to be my summer wheel. Some pictures below of how they look.

Yes it does, you can just about get away with only taking one wheel off and pulling one side of the bumper forward though??

Yeah he has that but not updated recently. Yeah they came out and cleaned behind. I have all new screws, but didn’t know audi used stainless. Cheers for the info

Whilst i’m on here, started on the paint correction Saturday. The paint wasn’t too bad considering it was last done around 4 years ago. Also cleaned and sealed all the arches using Bilt Hamber Dynax UC.

Finally got my 4-2-1 manifold on, sounds so good with decat Janspeed system. A few cold start revs.

I totally agree,they were lovely! But the VXR seats have no support at all compared to these at all?? Cheers mate, appreciate it!

Just a little update, new seats are in. They are Recaro Pole Positions?? Best seats i have ever sat in.

These are originally from a Corsa VXR, can be made to fit any car with slight modification. Trimmed by Lavish, perfect condition other than a few little scratches on the backs of them. £1000

Ok so my seats are up for sale if anyone wants a set of perfect condition Recaro’s. They don’t come with runners or mounts. Easily made to fit. I’d like a £1000.

Absolutely perfect condition, only used for a few months. Does not include the boss kit. Comes with horn.
