Both sides, this is the confusing part. Its driving me mental lol

The only thing i have to swap is the bulb, but i’ve tried both bulbs in the spare unit, still the same problem

Ah my bad! Yeah it still flickers when i swap them over and they are a slightly different colour. But swap the bulbs over and the problem stays with the flickering headlight.

Nope just the one headlight, but i’ve swapped everything over and even tried another headlight. So confused

Got myself a multimeter today, the power going to both headlights are exactly the same. This is the odd things, I swapped the headlights over today and the problem follows the headlight. So i swapped the bulb, same problem. Swapped the ballasts, same problem. Swapped the back casing with the wiring, same problem. What else can it be?😂

I’ll have to get a multi meter and try it. Car charges and starts perfectly as far as i can tell!

Still not got to the bottom of this, double checked all the fuses, tried another switch and another headlight/ballast. I’ve tried to follow the wiring back into the scuttle but i can’t see much out of place or corroded. Driving me up the wall now😒

I’ve tried several different ones now. I’ve checked fuses and all look okay. I’ve tried a headlight switch as well. Is there some sort of relay for the lights? I’ll have to follow the positive feed back and check that👍🏼

Still got my on going problems with my Xenons, the last month or so they have started flicker ocassionaly then eventually will flick off. If i turn them off and on they come back on. I’ve changed ballast, ignitors and bulbs. What else could it be? Cheers

Yeah thats it, i chucked them when i replaced them. You can pick them up cheap on Eurocarparts

A good upgrade to run 280mm discs. They bolt straight on with Lupo GTI calipers. £60

Well i’m back from a long weekend at the Nürburgring, if you have never been I highly advise you to go. The most incredible place i’ve ever been, a petrol heads dream! The Lupo performed faultlessly and not a single issue! Oh and the tyre writing didn’t last, a permanent solution is being worked on. I’ll leave a few pictures below?? p
