  1. Got my car back today and it feels really smooth. As soon as I got it I gave it a good polish and added a new touch to it. The spray paint is 'stone effect' so its actually textured which looks pretty cool!
  2. Indeed! I would love to give it lows but I think I may have to wait till next year for the insurance to go down abit.
  3. So I haven't had the car for about 3 weeks now as the cam-belt snapped so it's pretty much getting a full engine rebuild! Good new for me though as it was still 5 days within its warranty with the dealer, winning Got a cheeky picture of her when she was healthy though:
  4. Really really nice, would love to see this in the flesh!
  5. Jamie7

Is it possible to detached the chrome part of the badge away from the black bit?

  11. So my windows got tinted yeserday professionally at 35%. Heres some pictures: Jamie
  12. Really nice, can't wait to see it fitted
  13. Thanks for that. Was planning on asking you where you got yours (if mine didn't look right) as I've seen them in your thread!
  14. They are just cheapies off ebay, and they aren't the right size but I will see what it looks like. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Alloy-Wheel-Centre-caps-sticker-Logo-Badges-set-4-55mm-NEW-GOLF-GTI-LUPO-/321100906704?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ac31b00d0
  15. Funny you say that about the side lights, they are stock from what I know! I think it's something to do with the slow shutter speed setting the camera was on. But now you mention it, yellow side lights would indeed look good. Thanks for the suggestion of the headunit, will look into it.
  16. Looking good. AutoBra is a good place to go... I'm sure if you contact them they will be able to do a custom one for you. http://www.autobra.co.uk/shop/auto-seat-arosa-bonnet-p-687.html
  17. Good stuff, looking forward to the new wheels.
  18. Those wheels look absolutely perfect mate
  19. So I haven't really done much recently as I'm just enjoying the little beast. I'm planning on getting a new head-unit with Bluetooth for my phone... Does anyone recommend any? Got a few pictures of the little things I have done ect: Added some stickers to the rear window: (admittedly I do need to order a clublupo one!) Gloss black wrapped the inside door handles: Bought some new centre cap logos which I will fit when I next clean the car: Went to the most southerly car park in the UK: (Not hard for me, only 1 hour away haha) And a nice picture of me and my dad: Ive also booked my car in to get the rear 3 windows tinted 35% which I think is about right? Opinions? Cheers, Jamie.
  20. Yer I will give the new switch a try the cupra splitter looks awesome, defenty a good investment! Check out my members thread to see what it looks like on a silver lupo gti. Jamie

  22. I went there last year, and I thought it was great but I must admit I haven't been to many car events. It is a bit of a rave but not as bad as many of you are saying. I was 17 last year and felt quite safe but I was in one the caravans with my friends so we were away from the camping section which I think can be a bit dodgy! Its the last rtts ever this year so it should be a good one, hopefully this would bring in more cars though as last year was short on the ground. Not sure if I am going though as its right in the middle of my exams
