Lowered the lupo today. Lots of faffing around trying to get ride heights correct. Finally got it correct. How low can I go before I start fowling on things? The cars a daily and I do about 200miles a week. It's bouncy but I guess that's because of the coilovers? I can't go breaking things as it's gonna get expensive! Can anybody help?

Make sure you get bulbs with an r after ie h4r as they have beam deflectors/directors and give a proper beam of light and should stop you getting pulled for blinding people!

Can't seem to post in the classified section yet? Need/after a set of Jom rear spring adjusters. The blue cone things with the moveable ring! I know you can run without and it gives a real low look but as its my daily and there are far to many speed bumps where i live I really should run with a set! Please let me know via pm! Needed pretty soon too!

Hi! In my dash today it started flashing service, but it flashes oil until I touch the button. I've checked the oil and there's plenty in the engine, is this a normal thing when a service is due? Or is it more sinister? Also How do I turn the service off?

A grey interior consisting of front and rear seats with headrests. Front seats have airbags. Free for collection or possible delivery in exchange for fuel money!

Just changed my interior. But the new front seats are non airbag. This has bought up the airbag light and in my haste of pulling the passenger seat out I've managed to snap the plug from the cable! And pull it off! Is there a fuse I can pull out to disable the airbag or a way of turning the light of permantly? I did disconnect the battery before removing the seats as I was moving my amp and sub around at the time too! Please help!

If this is on a tdi it's pretty simple. Just unbolt the egr pipe from the exhaust manifold, then undo the three bolts holding the egr valve on, blank off the exhaust manifold with the plate. And reconnect the pipe work back on the allard pipe. Just don't reconnect any of the smaller pipes. Cable tie them up at the back of the engine bay. If its a petrol - sorry got no idea!

Anyone coming up from Herts and wants to convoy?

I've removed the egr valve and done the blank, parts came from allard. So I know there good quality. Is there a fitting guide anywhere? Or a thread? I've come from a tdi bora, which I knew pretty well as it followed a line of tdi golfs, but as I can't find a lupo manual anywhere a 'how to' would be good!

Can this be done? If so worth doing? And where does it fit to? Cheers

Is there any other glove boxes that are suitable? Or an easier fit?

Have been told a 6n glove box will fit a lupo, has anyone had any experience of doing this and how easy is it to do?

Has anyone got a red and black interior with upper and lower front and rear door cards? Want to change mine as its grey and boring!

Well I've been offered them for nothing! Are they a stiffer ride? Can't decide whether to get them and change the springs or just dig deep and buy coilovers!?

Does anyone know if the gti shocks and springs will make the car sit lower than the standard ones? And are they a straight swap over?

There 15s just wondering about inside wear on the tyres? I know on the bora anything over a 40mm drop you needed adjustable drop links! So I should be ok dropping 40/50mm?

Hi Just bought a lupo tdi! The bora died spectacularly! I've got some wheels sorted and have just ordered some coilovers! How low can I go before I need any adjustable links etc!?
