There isn't a best 'range'. Different manufacturers excel at different products.
For example stuff like Dodo Juice for example seems to be one of the best.
You'll not go wrong with Autoglym or Meguairs. Both are established for a reason.

Between 2 Lupos? i hope it was a long piece of road

iPad Mini's are a little over double din, but will fit with a touch of fettling. Take power from the fag lighter. Not sure how you'll manage volume control if mounting behind the panel though.
-
What are your ratings on the headunit? Been looking at buying this headunit but havent read any reviews
I think Pioneers AVH units are better to be honest. Don't look as good as the appradio but better functionally.
-
Double DIN in the Lupo just looks right.
-
Any distortion around the base of the a pillar?

Random update.
Gif of the Lupo at its' lowest, that I made recently:
Also, broke the green mx5, got a gold one, swapped all the goodies over:
Looks like this:
Will try and get a drive by clip soon. Sounds awesome with the a 4-1 manifold and stainless back box.
*Like*

Cheers mate! Yeah still got the Lupo too, but I *might take it off the road for a bit.
*Can't warrant having two cars but will probably keep both on the road anyway
You can sell me the Centras then
My mate with orange ST has sold his ST and got a silver mx5 while he shops for a Supra. He reckons he wont be able to sell the mazda now!

I think I'd be more excited about LPG than yet another air install.
-
Nice!
Still got the lupo?

Well having a bigger discs gives your pad a larger circumference to clamp on to, in theory giving you the same advantage as having a bigger pad.
How does it? The surface area of the pad isn't changed, so the area of friction hasn't changed. The extra disc your adding isn't being covered by the pad.
All your doing is adding extra weight.
-
I'm calling **** on bigger discs. If the pad size is the same (because the caliper is) then you don't get any benefit.
The cooling benefit will be massively exceeded by the additional unsprung weight.
You'd have better braking performance uprating the pads and swapping to 5.1 fluid.
-
So what braking advantage is gained by increasing the disc size but retaining the same caliper :/

I still have the ST. Its running stage 2+ (330hp and 440lb/ft). It only cost me £1500 to increase my power by over 30%.I think you are missing the point of people doing this kind of thing, its about being unique, original and something that not many (if any) would attempt to do. Some people revel in the challenge that this presents to someone, the engineering and thought that goes into planning and actually doing something. It would be a pretty boring world if we all wanted the same thing.
There is nothing wrong with what Karl_Mac_ said, in most cases I'd agree that if you want a fast car, buy a fast car, but you proudly show in your sig that you have (or had) a Golf GTi with BBS LM's, Blueflame exhaust, airfilter and springs, so you clearly are trying to make your car faster, so why haven't you bought a faster car (tho I guess your currently driving does show a focus st!) Please don't take this personally as that's not my intention, everyone is welcome to their opinion and I know I've opened a massive can of worms here!
As I said, please nobody take this personally!!!
To get 300hp out of a Lupo? £5k min doing all the work yourself? It'll then handle like a complete turd.
JBS quoted £8k for a roll in/roll out 250hp Lupo. For that same money just look at what you can buy.
I enjoy modding, but each car should stick to what they're good at. lupo's are funky little city cars, theres no shame in that.
Golf GTI is not a fast car, so the mods are phrely cosmetic to emphasise what it has.

Could either be unburnt fuel or your cat
My ST use to belch clouds of black smoke when it was on the Stage 2+ map. Switching to a decat reduced it a bit, but didn't get rid of it. The ST is reknown for having some retarded timing set up that dumps fuel in the cylinder to cool it on throttle close, so I don't think a Lupo should be doing this.
As rich says, get leak test done and have a good italian tune up.
-
Oh come on, you've never seen fast and furious?!
-
More than you can afford pal.....
-
That has to be the most 'scene' thread title i've ever read.
-
How much was it up for?
-
Nice car, bit price seems a tad strong for what is effectively the entry level model
-
Can you narrow it down a bit?
