  1. As above, mint condition. After £185. Can meet halfway etc for fuel money £0.50 a mile. I do some traveling, so I could meet you if arranged! I'm at donning ton race track on the 12th of March so if you're between me and there I could deliver! Located in Ringmer. Near Brighton (East sussex) No rips, marks, wear and the bolsters are in mint condition. Pics can be found in here :
  2. Anyone on this thread, I have a set of front and rear GTi seats for sale too. Mint condition, no rips, marks and the bolsters are in perfect condition. Message me for more info and pics. Sorry for the hijack!!
  3. Haha same! Good luck, they never come up.
  4. Haha! Maybe... Ill take photos as i re-install the dash. To be honest tho its such a big job and i'm not even sure if it'll be able to control the AC Yet! Currently sitting in the car, working on wiring, reminds me of camping as the rain is so loud in here!!
  5. Happy days! Got all the dash side of things working now need to wire up the temp and AC bits.
  6. Looking t the AC controller on the lupo, it looks really simple. Literally the blue wire from the back of the original heater knobs goes to the radiator fan control unit in the engine bay, and then that turns everything on in there... That might make the whole lot alot simplier.. or impossible without the entire polo AC system! Haha happy days!
  7. Haha well no doubt you'll find it a breeze. This'll make more sense to you than me i reckon! Heres all the info about the pins from elsawin. This is gonna be fun, trying to get all the relevant wires to their respective homes!
  8. Yeah man exactly! Are you planning on retrofitting an entire ac system with the standard knobs or the entire climatronic with ac?? As for the rare comment, I've heard whispers of others. I reckon there's 4 (including mine) that'll have the climatronic. Which is understandable, anyone who hasn't a clue about cars etc would be boned. The labour costs of this would be huge too. Taken about 5 hours so far. (Not including the head scratching). That's interior out, dash off, old box out, custom fabrication of the mounts on the lupo box from the polo one and refitted boxes and plugging all the climatronic plugs into the relevant boxes. Not wiring the rest into the other aspects of the car. I'm a bit concerend about how I'm going to test the AC. Never had to test something like this before and I wanna test it without the dash back in.
  9. Yeah skezza it did. Called it a day for now, going to sink my head into Elsa win once I'm warm and dry as its hammering it down here! Once I've got an idea of what needs to go where I'll post it up here. For future reference, it's really quite easy getting everything in just a long old slog for two people. (Skezza you'd have no issue, looking at the other bits you've done like the xenon retrofit). The issue is wiring it up so it will control the AC etc.
  10. Been head scratching all day. Managed to get it on and for everything to actuate properly. Just now I've got an entire other clip that needs to be wired in and Havent a clue about it. If anyone has any ideas that would be great.
  11. Getting everything in was the easy bit, basically marked up everything off of the polo heater box and transferred it across. There was only one piece that was the pain in the bum and that was a motor on the right hand part, but that's all sorted now! Ah that'll be entertaining as I don't have a polo loom. Elsa win isn't the clearest either! My only concern is with what goes where in regards to the main plug. The live is easy enough to work out, but iirc the climatronic needs the exterior temp sensor as well, which can be spliced from the main loom no problem. As for it being expensive.. This is gonna cost me a regass and about £30 lol!!!
  12. So. Started a mammoth task earlier today but most of the hard stuff is done now!! Will update with pics later! So excited about it too!!
  13. So started this today... Holy crap its a lot of work lol!! Rich, have you got any hinters on the wiring?
  14. Sounds like a good explanation and makes complete logical sense. It's also a mapping issue with the earlier GTI's. Trust me, I've had two GTI's, whack some 98ron fuel in it and itll go.
  15. It's also affected by the RON of the fuel you put in it, run it on momentum or the same and it'll go. I'd wager a £5er on it. Ask Dblock as he once corrected me on this lol!!
  16. Ah yes... Alright, alright next year maybe
  17. Ah that's a shame, should probably have put up a thread earlier lol!
  18. Hmmmm... Well when i have the interior out i'll photo the runners and bases. I don't think they've been modded as the other one felt the same... We'll see!! Thanks man! Yeah it's awesome! I'll be grabbing loads of photos of the car and of the racing so i'll make sure to keep this updated as best as possible! Can't wait to finish uni and just get on with racing!
  19. It's incredibly fun! Thanks man, I'll try and update it fairly often!
  20. Thanks man! I've got loads of bits at home, just need some time to fit them!
  21. Haha well hopefully there will be updates next week, who knows! I realized after I'd left. We should have taken some pics of the two together!!
  22. This is the only pic of the Wolver car I have as it's still being built! This is a 2009 (iirc) Formula Renault Barc car, it's the first year its been ran. It's gonna be awesome! I'll keep uploading pics as and when im out... For all those interested in Motorsport this is my racing calender this year... Gonna be busy! Especially as I go on holiday with my misses in June and I'm planning on doing a road trip too!!
