  1. the claws away and relaxed. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  2. he is 31. insurance could be under £400. kit cars dont have to cost a fortune.
  3. he didnt have the lupo or yaris to choose from that was a seperate feature. was funny to see the reaction when the guy turned down the golf. lol.
  4. great. tax/insurance/emissions i wouldnt care about either. but i love the idea of drving on a bike license lol.
  5. the magnum of the bike engines? ok what about a normal map but a button that restricts max rpm to 1500rpm or lower? would that get you down to 15kw? just thinking not saying you should do it. 15kw=20bhp.
  6. i dont really recommend greenstuff, there are quite a few others who dont like them either. i have heard good things about mintex.
  7. the power restriction for the bike licence is 15kw, thats why i suggested a switchable map to give 15kw low power. i wasnt at all suggesting you drive it with 15kw, for inspections etc. that kind of thing.
  8. thats fine i was just theorising. i am right about the bike license though, i remembered it when i saw an advert for this car. "MC2 is the worlds first lightweight small saloon 4 seat car weighing under 400kg. combined with the interior space of a Mini and with a 505cc fuel injection engine capable of 72mph and over 60mpg. MC2 may be driven by car and motor bike licence holders in the UK." border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> this car does not need a car driving license.
  9. i had horn, but no lights at all, even no registration lights. passed at a main dealers, they had to ring their HQ expert though as they had never dealt with it before. the police pulled me once as it looks so obvious from the outside with no light units on the front. they had to ring traffic police who told them it was ok. i wouldnt reccomned daylight MOTs its a lot of hassle actually, and i have been stuck in a supermarket carpark a number of times when mist/fog drifted in.
  10. quad bikers dont need a car driving licence i was sure of it. maybe its changed. as for MOT i drove my car for several years with daylight MOT, none of my lights were tested they were all masked off, including brakelights. quote MOT rules. " Stop lamps are not a legal requirement if the vehicle is fitted with neither front nor rear position lamps etc. (see 1.1)" "
  11. thats why i said a switchable ecu map, which is easy to do. 1 map for like tiny power, and then normal map for tuned performance. an on board switch can be used to change maps.
  12. the public can do what it likes to report speeders it doesnt have to be their jobs to do it. the village/built up area speeding is a problem that needs sorting. i would rather they have speedgun patrols than speed humps that ruin your suspension.
  13. good idea i support it. as its not punishing the driver at all its making people more aware of the speed limit.
  14. if you can get it to 400kgs, and have a special ecu map to switch it to a low power setup then you could drive it without a driving license as its classed as a 4 wheeled bike or something, like a quad bike in legal terms, would save you any speeding points on your driving license. would also pay bike level tax i think.
  15. eibach are the best maker of springs in my opinion. i have a 30mm drop and its suits the lupo gti fine. eibach may have made optional factory extras for vw, either way it doesnt matter they would be top quality.
  16. autops price is £450 delivered for a single order, it could be cheaper for more than one. if you add 17.5% tax to the schrick retail price then i guess you can get the german tax deducted off the retail price as its for export. autops sort all that out as they are a uk retailer. yes the price is confirmed as i have spoken to them on the phone. on your list for the £200 cam that in a lower duration cam than the variable listed, you can get a matching non variable 256 cam or even spec both cams to 281 for high power outputs.
  17. i have pm'd you. in relation to the speeding, a message about speeding is rightly not evidence. but an offensive comment is an offensive comment it doesnt need backup evidence, it is what it is. so action can be taken directly upon it. the law does protect us from offensive comments, but its finding out who it is that said it is tricky at the moment.
  18. threat is a harsh word. i hope you want to maintain a suitable forum here, i support that. i would be against anything wrong being posted on it. which is your responsibility at the moment.
  19. i agree totaly with what you say. i only want to discuss things in a polite way, about various subjects, this being just one subject.
  20. any offensive comment published on here has potential to be taken to court over. and you need to make sure you not making allegations aswell. this is a thing i could take you to court over. whether it is true or not is irrelevent, if it is damaging for you to say it i could sue you. the problem as i mentioned above is your true indentity and address is not on record for a court to summon you. this could change.
  21. good. is this going to be road registered/legal? when i stripped my micra i removed all the lights and had it for daytime use only which you are allowed to do. saves a lot of weight from wiring loom and light units etc which can be blanked off, or used for ducting.
  22. you wouldnt find it funny if you got taken to court. people need to be careful. thats my advice.
  23. i think the issue is interesting.
  24. it would be nice to see some support for clublupo, you are someone that wants to see it go then. i would like clublupo to be a nice family/individual friendly area.
