  1. If you do break it, let me know. Thanks.
  2. It's only the first few days of 2013 and I've already seen the most stupid threads I've seen in a while. What's going on? Has everybody left their brain behind in 2012? Oh and whilst I remember, will my skyline rear lights fit the Lupo? ... I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
  3. Or, despite you saying you didn't want a reply like this, buy a tdi. I'm sure this is cheap to insure and whatever, but for the extra few pennies, you'll get much more out of it, still good mpg, and you'll save a few quid from not ****ing about with turbos and bits that aren't intended for your engine.

    remap

Hahahaha this is a fantastic thread. Competition for the "dumbest thread of 2013" already. You need to upgrade a lot of components for a "stage 2" remap let alone a stage three. But all these remaps are, are custom codes to get the most out of your engine tuned to these components. You can't just stick a stage 3 remap on there if you haven't got a decat, cam upgrade, clutch upgrade, etc. Just buy a ****ing 1.4, and save yourself the money. It'll have about 25% (if not more) more power than your 1.0 ever will anyway. Jesus Christ I don't want to live on this planet anymore
  5. You should be able to find a set with ballasts for £300/£350 on here and elsewhere. You'll be able to find it in time. Don't pay £900. Please.
  6. Never been a fan of corsa B's. can't stand saxo's. can't stand body kits. But if we were all the same the world would be a boring place!!
  7. This guy hit the nail on the head. Providing you have all necessary bits though it'll be fine. My point is its much easier than trying to stick a vr6 lump in it, or something...
  8. Awesome, must be a difficult job mind. Tuck is the way forward haha
  9. Na, joking aside... Seeing as they came from the same car virtually, it'd be safe to assume that you could use everything from that car as a donor for the swap
  10. Yeah only requires a 10mm spanner and some silicon.
  11. Lupo estate = potential rear wheel drive drift slag? Looks better in the photoshopped second pic. The first pic looks terrible
  12. Or a louder engine. Or a wife that nags more. Or both. These would help drown the compressor out a bit.
  13. I stand corrected. You want some acoustic foam. You know, the ones made of tiny pyramids. Something like... http://images.digitalmedianet.com/2007/Week_52/omk1l6jw/story/004_foam_pieces.jpg My dad works in acoustic engineering, and we have a few acoustic rooms where I work. It's crazy stuff, you shout in a room with this on all four walls, and it feels like you're shouting in space, because your voice just doesn't echo or bounce. Don't know if that's a bit overkill though
  14. Are these pie charts backed by statistics? I assume sound deadening does the job regardless of what it was intended for. Are compressors really that noisy?!
  15. I had to take pics of my non existant sister OH AND DONT FORGET she should be tied up in the small boot
  16. What kind of cool tricks have you done / can you do via vagcom? Anything useful? Is there any way of using the fogs as DRL's? Can I enable things like auto lock?
  17. I'll have you know, my legless uncle makes great surveys. He speaks the truth though.
  18. You do know that it's the second number that's the profile right? 55 will look chunkier that 45. Go 165/50. It's tried And tested and looks good
  19. This could turn into the ultimate air thread lol! Should be ok on 15's then? As the plan was to go on 15's. bit worried 16's would be too big for the square shaped arches of the non gti models. Anyone have any experience of chassis notching? Where've you had it done, how much etc?
