i have been away from the site for a long time and now i'm after negotiating with a car dealer for a mk1 arosa, the same dealer that i got my first one from. his 2 daughters had this car so at least i know its been looked after.. i have big plans for it as i've been after one for a long time sine i last had one. i will keep you's updated wit any progress. cheers sean

hey im nearly the owner of another 98 arosa mk1, i sold my other one about a year and a half ago.... i am planning a big euro project... so im looking suggestions on alloys that will set the car off, looking something with a stretched tyre cause it just looks mad.... also im prob gonna have to do an interior change agan like the last one but this time i am wondering if the newer dash fits into the mk1?? the cars getting a full respray and i'm a massive fan of red but could anyone suggest a nice new colour for it?? also im looking suggestions on seats to go into the arsoa... ill make them fit like if there not for the arosa lol.. sorry for all the questions but i've been away from the arosa for a good while like ..lol cheers for any help you can provide sean.

i want another mk1 arosa.... dono y i ever sold it.. prob cause it was a 1l, id go for the 1.4 sport next time... might get one in the summer and euro like mad..

There is no dents at all. Its just a straight spray.

how much would it take to re-spray a whole car in the same colour that it is in?

I have the same problem. Try an addivative to your oil, from STP, i cant think of the name, but i will get back to ya on it. Some job though. i used to be goin through half a litr ever week nw i only top it up every two weeks.

all you need is the door lock barrel. I to get one there for my car. £50, paid up front. Handy as hell to put in. All you need is your chassie number.

is your car a 1.4 SDI. I know where there is a lupo 1.4SDI for breaking. you could get the gear box off it and prob the diff.

Ah lads i have got lumps cut out all ready and lumps welded in again, and then fibreglassed over them adn filled. all you can see now is the lumps comming up where the welding was done. I priced a new outer quarter pannel this morning from a seat dealer and they said it was £130 + VAT, but i can get the VAT off so its not too bad. The fella that is dong this for me said that the would stick it on and paint it for £150. I dono if its worth doing, or should i just get a new car. Any thoughts??
