Who's done a 20v conversion? Post a pic if your master cylinder clearance please
-
Can you buy the small connector that goes into the clutch master cylinder. The connector that connects the pipe to the MS. I have copper brake pipe to make up the line but I can't source the MS to pipe connector. Please help or fire some ideas my way.

Cheers, anyone got one for sale??

I'm at. Dead end regarding the cable clutch and think I'm gonna have to go down the hydro clutch setup. My question is what pedal box fits with least hassle?
-
Surely someone can shed light in this problem. I've got hold of a mk2 cable but the pedal end won't fit. I'm gonna try a mk2 pedal over the weekend.

i would go for the AGU due to the big ported head and an abundance of upgrades. go for a standard ECU remapped to lose the clocks/immobiliser etc. these sell on ebay for £100. i am personally using the AUQ engine in my conversion as it was a freebie. and i'm running megasquirt ECU which again was a freebie. you can check my progress and have a look at whats involved by searching facebook (i made a facebook page for ma car lol) "weeredarosa deewhy". gearbox, im using an o2a from a mk3 golf tdi. 6 speed wont fit. only use the o2a if you want mechanical clutch and not hydraulic. o2j for hudraulic due to the positioning of the reverse light switch.

whats clutch cable do i need for my arosa with an o2a box and manual clutch? standard cable is perfect fit but too short. cant seem to find much info. someone suggested a mk2 golf manual adjusting cable, but i'm not sure of the correct ends. any info appreciated.

Anyone?

What clutch cable is needed for the 1.8t with an o2a box?
-
First off, sorry for posting in here but it won't let me post in classifieds. Looking for someone selling a downpipe for a lupo 1.8t conversion.
-
Sorted. Cheers for the heads up. On another note. Got the g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch. The original box that was on was an o2o from a mk2 16v. The sandwitch plate between the block and box doesn't fit the o2a box. Do I need one or will I get away without using one?

can anyone shed any light on the best way to tackle the front mount? what mount should i be looking to install? mk2 golf etc? as stated above i cant see a way to mount the mount as there is no way of running box section steel from chassis leg to leg without it hitting the fan housing or oil filter.

Using an o2a gearbox. Using my original subframe mount with a little fabrication to lengthen it and strengthen it.
-
Wee update. Engine problems sorted. Cut a notch out the subframe and a lug off the gearbox. Was excess cast anyway. Shaved another mm off the master cylinder. Sorted. Cheers man. Onwards. Next mission is to fabricate a rear mount. What's the down with the front mount? Can't see a way of running box section from leg to leg as the fan housing and oil filter are in the way?? Hmm!
