You can fit a quinny buzz (think thats the name) in a lupo boot! I can't fit the silver cross we have but it's pretty big plus i have a sub in the back too lol.

Optical can easily carry 100GB/S with the right equipment its the distances that's the problem when the fibre can only carry that for 0.5km. That's using a multiplexed signal of course. Until there is an optical signal or wireless running the full course of point you wish to connect with the speeds are going to be poor/ intermittent.
