Who lives up North, and wants to meet up with us to convoy down. Darren and I are meeting BReal at Woodhall services on the M1 so if any one wants to convoy down with us post your location on here
  4. Ive taken on everything from Scobbys to a Big **** off Jag. Didn't win any of them though.
  5. Just remember to start with the gain at min and work your way up. Dont wanna be hearing bout the smell of burnt voice coils style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  6. It was in Guilders in Rotherham, from the front it looked really really agressive, I still think the car looks like a Pug 307 from the side, but its growing on me, its the size of the boot that impressed me. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  7. Cant remember if I told you all but I noticed a knockin noise on Sunday so took the car into VW yesterday they found the fault pretty quick (wheel nut loose style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> - dont say a word ok? lol) Anyways when I went into the show room to pick up the keys a bumped into a black mk5 Golf GTi. I really didnt want to like this car, every time I saw picuters of the car I wasn't impressed, but my God! How good does that car look in the flesh! I love it, the girlfriend loves it. Very very tempted. What do you guys think?
  8. I thought the gain wasn't to be used as a volume control, I though it controlled the amount of watts leaving the amp? Ive got my sub amp set to 75hz and the bass boost set to 9 @ 50hz with a wide band. As you said it depends on the size of sub, a smaller sub can handle higher frequencies alot better than larger subs. Mine sounds crap if I go higher than about 80hz. But then again ive not got any rear speakers so I just have concentrated bass coming from the sub
  9. lol thats what I was thinking. Just been looking at the list on whos going. Bit of a change from last year aint it? Gonna be a right sight us all together!
  10. Just getting back to car washing, did you grab any pics of bikina washes?....
  11. Thats the spirt!
  12. LOL Im getting more and more excited about the 22nd. Bit of a grudge match brewing aint they? So whos gonna step up to the challange then? Someone must have the bottle to take on a Tdi Arosa? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  13. Aye its a long drive down to get there for 8am. Plus the car would be filthy by the time I got there. If I stay there it'll give me time to wash the car early sunday morning before we head out to Santa Pod. How much is it gonna cost if your not going on the track?
  14. Email me the pics and i'll host them for you andidunston@hotmail.com
  15. Well done Matty top job!
  16. LoudLupos ride border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  17. I pulled mine off with hot boiling water, and then the glue comes off (very slowly) with bug and tar remover and a rag. Susspention, you can go for a sport kit (shocks and lowering springs) or coilovers. Cheapest option is lowering springs but the ride can be really harsh. If you look in sytleing you'll see a thread about rear spoilers.
  18. Colour code the bumpers, take the side strips off, lower her, car sticker off the rear window. Got lots more ideas, how far do you want to go with it?
  19. Just looked at them again, but ya, they still look ***** style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  20. ??? Just make sure you all remind me not to do that to them lol
  21. WOW! They look fantastic dont they? Im not too sure on the matt finish though. I'll look into if you can get a mirror finish on dark wheels.
  22. Ok so flip paint is out. Ive cleaned one of my `un-damaged` wheels up yesterday and polished it a few times and it looks stunning. I might just get the two damaged ones repaired and sprayed in the standard silver. Killing me useing the stellies but I dont wanna mucky them untill after the 22nd!!!!
  23. Well took my wheels off last night to give them a good refurb in time for the summer. So had to fit my 13" steelies for a while. Other than how low the car looks, and how cumfy the ride is again I fcuking hate it! I cant belive the diffrence a set of alloys make to the look of a car, which brings me to my question to you all. After ive repaired the curbing damage (this id like to point out is not caused by bad parking, this is down to hugging the inside AND out side line when racing a little too closely) I can either respray the wheels in the standard silver finish, or I can try a silver/blue flip paint ive seen. As my car is Metalic silver I thought a touch of colour would look well. So my question is this. Do I paint silver or flipped?
  24. Do you meen the tweeter built in the dash?
