  1. When I bought the car it was sold with 1 key, got a quote for a coded one for over £100 and a week later I found the spare with the logbook But I don't believe you can code it yourself, needs to be done by VW or a shop with the right stuff.
  2. There's some on eBay for £31.98 all in from a UK seller.
  3. I really like the amount of work that's been put into this car. Just not keen on the bonnet, but everything else looks outstanding!
  4. Buy coils and wind them how you want.
  5. New bumper, new wheels and cleaned, looks a lot better now.
  6. Hi, just wondering roughly what my Lupo is worth: 1.0 E Flash Red W Reg 86,000 Miles Taxed till May MOT till December Lowered on TA Technix Coils Belt done 2 years ago/20,000 miles ago Exhaust done around a year ago Paint is quite good for its age 2 Keys Bad bits: Both check straps have gone Pulled off the drivers side door handle due to the faulty check strap Back bumper has a bit of a scuff where an old man reversed into me Both doors have a small trolley dent, barely visible Tracking needs doing Steering wheel is loose Seen another white 1.4 I fancy so I'm just curious as to how much someone would be willing to pay for mine. All input positive or negative welcomed!
  7. Nice! How much did they cost you? Really want Borbets for my car but the prices for them seem all over the place..
  8. Have you put the mirrors on and done the bonnet or are you fixing it?
  9. Call a breakers or check eBay, bonnets are usually no more than £100 and even I can fit them, definitely not worth going through your insurance.
  10. According to my mechanic all is ok. Went to get it tracked yesterday, if anything the car is a lot worse and now pulls to the left more so than it did the right and the steering has gone extremely heavy. Need to nip back up today or tomorrow. :
  11. All fixed for £55, think I just need it tracking as it's pulling to the right a lot.
  12. The second one looks like a squashed Focus. I really dislike the Ka.
  13. Surely it would've been worth more than £150?
  14. I was going to buy doors with everything in from an Arosa, but it seems more hassle than it's worth.
  15. What size are the ones in the picture?
  16. Thank for the help haha Been quoted £60 for all the parts listed above from a MK1 1.0 Arosa. Including hub, wishbone, steering arm thing and disk, and then about £30 labour, so it doesn't seem too expensive, unless the steering rack is damaged, then I'm f*****d..
  17. Had a look last night. Wishbone is dead.
  18. How much would I be looking at for labour?
  19. I'll give them a ring tomorrow. Is it a big job replacing the mentioned parts?
  20. That sounds expensive. Yeah it was the same wheel and I've just found out my spare is popped. Will parts off a MK1 or MK2 Arosa be a straight swap? My local scrappy has one of each in.
  21. I was going down a street on Friday when I hit a patch of ice and slid into a curb at about 10mph. The front drivers wheel is completely knackered, possibly buckled. Jacked it up to check for damage, all seems ok (but I'm no mechanic) the alignment is definitely out, but when I put the wheel back on, I noticed it won't spin freely, it'll move but not spin. Any ideas as to what I could have possibly f****d up?
  22. Is fairly straight forward to fit electric windows in a Lupo E? I'm able to get two doors of an Arosa MK1 with cenral locking and electric windows already fitted. Would it just be a case of giving power to the windows? Not fussed about the central locking.
  23. Low N Slow. Next step is to get new alloys and fit the new front bumper.
  24. When I first passed my test and I stalled the car, sometimes it wouldn't start straight away, you would need to keep turning and turning the key and it'd start on the fifth go. Pretty bad when you're holding up the traffic behind you :$
  25. Hi, just a quick question, will the front wheel arch lining off an R Reg MK1 Arosa fit on a Lupo?
