  1. ahh right thanks guys. I couldn't decide if they were just the standard ones and smoothed, or weather I would have to go out and buy a set
  2. like the title says, what bumpers are these, and where can i get my hands on a set? http://forums.finalgear.com/post-your-car/vw-lupo-1-4-euro-40970/
  3. Turns out its a rod-type. Any one got any ideas of where i can find one in the north east?
  4. So I own a 1.4 16v lupo on a 1999, (has only covered around 58,500 miles) Coming home last night, the dreaded whyning began, however it didn't seem to get louder as you went faster. it sounded louder as you took your foot off the accelerator to come down the revs, anyway that aside. Seems to me like I need a new gear box. So the question is, dose anyone know if this model has rod-type gear linkage or is it cable gear linkage? Thanks.
  5. yeh pal everything is where it should be, the company has agreed to send out some spacers, so hopefully this fixes my problem
  6. I am also aware that the wheels say et 28 however apparently all the wheels are stamped with et 28 and are then machined from there to the right et.
  7. Right so i bought my self A set of, Cades eros alloy wheels for my 1999 vw lupo 1.4 16 v Here they are: they are 15" x 6.5, 100 x 4 with et 30. the issue i'm having is actually with the front wheels. when the wheels are mounted to the front they actually hang over the bell and have actually ground the pads and the inside of the wheels away. Why this is happening I don't know. it has me absolutely baffled. Measurements have been took of the pads and the discs and everything are the sizes that they should be. any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guys

  10. I never said anyone was being sarcastic. I just stated that you always get one person. At the end of the day if you don't have anything constructive to say then don't say anything. You don't have to post on here. I don't like bully's, and thats what you are. my opinion of course. because yes I might only be 18 but until a law says different I am entitled to one. Now if you don't have any thing constructive to say f*** off. However if you feel like you have something relevant to the actual topic, then feel free to give a helping hand like every one else that's left a comment. Thanks
  11. Might want to read my comment pal. Never said you were being sarcastic. I said "you always get at least one sarcastic comment on here" Thanks to everyone who was actually being helpful on here.
  12. Was just looking for a bit advise if any one knew about any. Just don't see the point in going on like a *** about it. Gives the club a bad name, and no one wants that. Anyways if anyone dose have any ideas that would be great thanks
  13. Looked for the past week and a half, because I noticed you always get at least one sarcastic comment on here cheers.
  14. Need a bit of a Hand here I have about 500 quid to spend on tires and alloys Have no idea where to start and what would look nice The wheels need to be able to sit on a dark green lupo 1.4 Was thinking 14 or 15"
