  3. Seems allot of work to just replace a rubber strap disappointing can't just replace strap on own .
  4. How do you go about swopping over the current petrol key lock that's fitted to petrol cap ? had a quick look but all seems like one peace
  5. I've managed to snap my rubber fuel strap that holds the petrol fuel cap when filling up at petrol station? Any idea if these are available from VW and if they can be replaced ? Cheers
  6. Have to take a look when removed.as its a pain full stop to remove with the acess to the 10mm bolts that hold glass in place Is this any good has the clips in kit no idea how you remove them ,http://bit.ly/1bljyo6
  7. Yes I have seen the clips at the bottom of the glass think they are a dark grey ,,Im thinking about just swaping the motor over to my old setup assemble as I know that worked up and down just fine until the motor died is this possible ?

It was just a recon one second hand the motor operates fine just the fact it doesn't go all the way down left with 2" inch popping out above the door .and when it gets to the bottom and I keep pressing switch no sound thinks its at the correct position end bottom strange ,, no idea which clips to replace?

Hi im looking for some help as I recently replaced my drivers side window regulator as it complete stopped working no movement switch is working just fine as tested that first, so I fitted a replacement regulator and solved this and electric window now works well all most but for some reason the issue the window does not go all the way down there's about 2" inch left sticking out no idea why as ive followed all the steps and fitted same way I took out anyone had same issue or any idea what is coursing this ? thanks

  14. Im after a accurate reading so I can pin point the fault so im not just buying parts to solve the issue and not just get a code reading that dosent just tell me same any more then the dash warning light does . Which VAG-COM reader are you reffering to on ebay?
  15. Hi all im looking for someone in the Midlands who could help me with a fault I have its the exhaust emissions warning lamp that has appeared on the dash looking for someone who has VAG-COM and help me do a scan track down the fault much appreciated.
