Should be over Bluewater anyway so I'll pop over in my Mini.
-
Never even heard of that before but I guess not.

Big cost of putting another engine in, surely? I've not got the money for testing it and playing about. :\ Wish I knew more about engines though haha.
-
My engine's gone (see Arosa threads) so doesn't look like I'll be going. :\

Seems my car wants to burn oil and get oil on the spark plugs. I've been told this means a new engine or a re-build, neither of which I have the money for. Not sure what to do with the car, whether to scrap it, break it or take a baseball bat to everything, considering the time and effort me and others have put into it. Any suggestions for my little MK1, 1.4 Arosa?

Or you could do what I'm doing and remove the back seats all together so you can put two 15" subs in. :3

On the topic of seats, I'm a fan of bucket seats (each to their own) and was wondering if anyone knew where would sell a cheap pair of reclining bucket seats?

Cruise to Edition 38 from the south (meet at lakeside)

If that's what I think it was, Jay and I went to it. I got moaned at by the police, like usual. -
I'll hopefully be down there too, if my car's still working. >< Should have finished vinyl wrapping it matt orange by then too.

I did reply, in a personal message thingy.

Awesome, what time are you going?
-
Who's going next Wednesday?
-
S'only a fiver.

Lovin' that! Can't believe I didn't see it last night. Inspired me to start on my interior a little faster now haha.
-
Fun evening. Thanks everyone for the ideas and help. Looking forward to more.
-
I'll add you and text you whenever I get there. Will.

Which car park is it? My first meet.
-
Gonna hopefully come down to Bluewater tomorrow, if it's on - you can all laugh at my Arosa I've just bought for a 'project'.
-
How strange. Well, just sold my Clio and then went for a drive in the Arosa, turned off the engine, key out of the ignition and the heating was still on. These cars are worrying.
-
Well it's good to know other peoples stay on too. Thank you guys. I'll get a picture or two of my Arosa up soon.
-
Wow, you guys are active. Yeah, they stay on all the time, sorry. Just not used to it, after driving my (stupid) Clio for a year and a half.
-
That's what worried me haha. Any suggestions?

Afternoon everyone, I've just bought a Seat Arosa Mk1 and was wondering if the mileage and time should still be displayed, even without the key in the ignition. I assume something is wrong here but instead of taking it straight to a garage, thought I'd ask here first. Any ideas? Thanks.
