  1. May split to sell seperately as 2x front shocks & 2x rear shocks if theres interest.
  2. Any ideas whether larger dishes are available for these?
  3. As per the title standard TDI front & rear shocks (no springs - will fit all models), they were on the car for less than 20k miles before coilovers were fitted & these have sat in the garage ever since. They are in superb condition & perfect for replacing a broken/damaged standard setup. Im not sure what they're worth so I'll say £60 posted for all 4 or £50 collected from Surrey/South London, I'll try & get some pics up over the weekend if necessary.
  4. Exactly as the title says, a set of drilled, grooved, vented discs & OMP road race pads to go with them. I incorrectly ordered these a couple of years ago for my car & lost the receipt so they've sat in the garage ever since! They dont have the original boxes as I must have thrown them but all the items are as brand new with no wear or use. I'll try & get some pictures up over the weekend. Price £60 Posted or £50 collected from Surrey/South London.
  5. Im someone who likes to pop up every once in a while to keep you guessing! Bonjour!
  6. Interested in a swap for some polished phase 1 ronal turbos with custom spike centres?
  7. Hmmm when you say 'half finished' how does it look so far?
  8. You dont need to remove the strut unless you're fitting adjustable top mounts (which is a bit excessive. Have you tried loosening the upper of the bolts holding the strut to the hub (at the bottom) and pulling the the srut out? Coilovers usually have enough movement in them to sort the camber that way, although if you dont get enough adjustment, do a search on fleabay for camber bolts (about £20 a pair). They replace the upper of the 2 lower bolts on the strut (hope that makes sense) & they'll allow you to get more adjustment.
  9. I think the one I've got may be the button adjust versions (if I'm lucky) that will make things a lot easier

    Artec PA's

Had a set on my arosa for the last 3 yrs, thankfully they dont have the balloon tyres anymore & its been dropped...
  11. [quote name=one litre wonder ' timestamp='1297772511' post='893041] jesus christ! max! didnt think you still had your arosa!!
  12. Cheers Foxy, actually gave up with the KW website & went straight to Koni instead & found this handy link which shows 2 different types of shock, either way it looks like its a dampers off job. Nothing like duplicating your work eh?!
  13. Had a quick look in the dark tonight, the dampers are Koni top adjustable (stamped into the body) with KW Codes - 800 1101, Art. Nr - 6158000 (I think), Auftr. Nr - AKZ904. Still cant find anything about them, though!
  14. The front ones do, but the rears are different, I think I need to get the codes of them as they are actually Koni dampers labelled up for KW as part of the kit - Im guessing it was an early set of V2's? All I know is I might as well put block of wood in instead of the current set up as it'd have more flex & comfort!
  15. Well its been ages since I last posted on here but Im totaly stumped with something & the KW website is useless.... Does anyone remember how to adjust the rear dampers on the KW Variant 2's? I've had a set in storage waiting to go on for nearly 3.5 years, finally got round to fitting them only to discover the rears are 100x more uncomfortable than the knackered FK silverlines were! I think the rears were somehow adjustable by turning the piston? If anyone could let me know it would be appreciated as they're unbearable at the moment!
  16. *bump up* So I dont lose the thread....
  17. I had this problem for months & it drove me nuts!... If the above doesnt work remove the seat & turn it upside down so you have access to the 'base' un-hook the material/leather at the rear of of the base so you have access to the foam rubber underneath. Once you've done this slightly pull the foam away from the base & coat the gap inside with hairspray (nick it off the missus!), then reassemble the seat. A lot of 'creaking' can actually be from the foam dragging/rubbing on the metal base plate of the seat the hairspray will act like a glue coating & stop it! Before going through this procedure try sitting as far forward on the seat and going over a couple of bumps, then try sitting on the seat normally & going over the bumps again... If it creaks when your sat back but not forward its a good indication its the foam making the noise on the base plate
  18. I would have thought Ray was old enough to remember 5 star petrol!
  19. Love it! Went and test drove three the other day, a 1.2, 1.4, & 1.4 'sport', all felt utterly gutless tbh. Considering putting down a deposit one of the other Abarth versions though as the quality of the car itself is really good.
  20. It's meant to be out in about a months time on O2 (not actually confirmed 100%), no idea on the other networks yet.
  21. ^^^^ Have to agree with that, the 1 series is pap & handles like a barge!
  22. Would be quite interested to see what what they come up with, I was genuinely interested enough in the new Sirocco to consider buying one..... Until I saw the 'final' design. Utterly dissapointed to be honest .
  23. Am I reading this right? he was in the left hand lane trying to turn right, the lane that you happened to be driving in?!
  24. The second driver wont be able to be used as a witness or his statement should be discounted on the grounds that he isn't 'impartial' or independant to the bus driver. You're best bet is to see if there is any traffic CCTV down that road & you should be able to apply to the police or council to get copies of the recordings, which will show him driving into you.
