Hahaaa, it was an omp cage with an additional brace added to the rear if my memory serves me correct! again yes the front strut brace is OMP althoguh since fitting the car hasnt really had any use so hard to say the benefits... -

Been a while; not a great deal happened over the last 18 months but starting to come together now. Upgrading to a SEM intake manifold which has taken some more trimming of the front slam panel and rerouting of some pipe work! A couple of images of the trail fit. -

A faulty throttle body has stopped play recently so that's currently being changed... With winter approaching as well I'm tempted to try and sort a few things out that have been niggling me... The rear beam needs a freshen up along with the anti roll bar.. Few bushes a bit worn that need changing. And I really fancy a few bits tidying up and maybe re trimming in the interior..

Goes every year at least a couple of times to psi for one thing or another.. Should hopefully be at edition this year.

Developed a slight problem of not wanting to restart when hot at the moment... Need to investigate.

Finally managed to get my lupo gti rear spoiler sorted. I was stitched up good and proper when I bought it off Facebook, was described as being in perfect condition, when it arrived it was cracked and split on the underside the brake light was cracked and the mounting points on the reverse were shot! (See photos). Evidently this ended up costing me much more than I'd like to have spent but maybe aesson to myself...! Got it fitted and have to say I really love the look of it and I think it gives the car much more prescence at the rear and looks more'finished' for the look I wanted I think.
