I need advice again please, some tyre fitters now use nitrogen to fill up tires saying its better as no oxygen and water vapour. Also longer lasting wheels and what not. Is this true or is this just to con you out of £2 per tyre.

Hi guys and gurls I need help again please. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Right i have the g60 280mm disc upgrade on my 'rousa, and its good but then someone put silly ideas in my head. I have read you can stick VR6 or TT calipers on instead of the standard sports ones. Now 1stly will it be better than the standard system and roughly how much. E.g. bang for buck wise is it worth it? secondly do i only need 280mm discs, g60 carriers and tt or vr6 calipers then and thats me ready? or will i need hoses and yokes and this and that? Cheers everyone im watching a set of vr6 calipers on ebay should i get em or are tt ones better? one last thing i have just bought brand spanking new pads they wont fit on the vr6 calipers will they?

I have also tried changing the fuse. Changing the key fob battery I locked it with the key then open it with the key I nearly got my arm chopped off when i had the drivers window open and you lock the door and press the button in the ignition. should i try anything else

I need help with my rcl please. One day my rcl stopped working i think cos my plip key ran out of battery, then i replaced it and it started working fine again. But then once again its stopped working and i need it to work. I dont know why it has stopped working. Is there a diy fix or is it a job for the stealer. Cheers Daood

you want low down torque either turbo ur 8v get a 20vt conversion or sell your car thats all you really can do. I know what you mean as a car with power foot down and ur gone instead of shifting down and all that. But seriosly i wouldnt bother really. making ure car lighter will help. I love my car but in 2 years im gonna sell it and get a cupra hopefully which i will tune as its eaiser and the gains are better. id be kicking myself spending 500quid on something which i dont get much bhp on.

i have the same problem but i put it down to a blown speaker.

that sounds right. i actully give driving at 60 a try usully drive at 70ish i use like no petrol at 60 brilliant

an 8v only revs to 3100doing 70 my 16v revs to about 3700ish is that right?

dunno about a xsi but a gti for definate will be faster
