YB05GYU - was mine since new until I wrote her off 😢. I’ve still got the log book all the history and the spare key. It was f##ked to be fair there’s more wrong with it than just the front end. Not sure how it’s being ridden around with no mot or tax the insurance told me she’d be scrapped or broke down for spares not sold to someone in Leicester to put a baby seat in. Anyway was just posting because if anyone does feel like buying her to restore from whoever it is on Facebook that owns her now then I’ll happily answer any questions because I’m the one owner from new not them 😂.

Have spent some time searching but not found the same faults, was just wondering if anyone has any experience of whats happening to my Lupo at the moment. On Friday night the car started losing power when driving at at steady speed or accelerating, no judder or loss of revs just as if i had taken my foot of the pedal, as soon as I take foot off accelerator and put back on power comes back. To start with no warning light came on but after about ten minutes of this the EPC light came on. The next morning it was the same then the light went out and then came back on again. After reading a few things about brake lights not working and brake switches bringing the light on i checked and all the lights are working. Was advised to disconnect the battery and leave for a while. After reconnecting the battery after a few hours the car is driving fine but the EPC light is still on. Has anyone seen this before?? Just wondering if i should take to a dealer or not?? Cheers Darrell

It was me, think i was on my way to/from audi, getting some screws to fit TT knee rests!! As i was driving out of audi a yellow or lime green lupo was driving in,would of given thumbs up but was a fair bit away.

The Grey Gti on Horseforth roundabout will of been me, still got it just changed job so dont go that way anymore!! I'd be up for a Leeds meet!

Hi guys just a quick question as ive been searching for answers but had no luck yet! I have air con in my 05 plate GTI, can you fit the climatic controls from a polo GTI??? The manual for my car shows the lupo gti with the same control panel as the climatic control in a polo gti but im guessing its not an option in the UK and only availiable in Germany? My main question is - Can i just unplug the a/c control panel in mine with the 3 dials and simply plug in the digital controls from a polo gti?? The dash looks exactly the same and as said above the controls look the same just dont know whats behind the controls and if any extra motors etc may be needed for it to work??? Thanks Darrell.

My petrol flap got snapped off and the stickers for the "fuel type" and "tyre presures" went with it!! So far i've had 3 failed attempts at ordering new stickers from VW (wrong fuel type, in language and a tyre one for the GTI with pressures for 13 ins wheels?) Please could someone have a quick look at the part numbers for the stickers on their GTI so I can order the right ones before i go mad! Thank you Darrell.
