  1. Long shot but after trawling through all the online car adverts I can't see it so back on here to see if anyone on here knows.

02 plate blue lupo sport 1.4

I sold it in 2013 to a dealer.

Just checked the gov.UK website and its sorned but the most ran out last year so I was hoping that its just off the road not crushed! ?

    Any info would be fabby.

Very tempted to buy another lupo again, but my Seat Lean ST is a bit more practical for a wheelchair.

Still waiting every lupo that passes me.

  2. Anyone seen any hide or hair of my old Lupo?

Think it was sold... (i stupidly traded it in)

Was up for Sale in Falkirk so its probably in the Area somewhere?

Wanting to know if it went to a good home or not?

Jazz Blue 1.4L 02 Plate... totally standard part fi the stickers i put over the spare buttons...

Anyone seen it? Or are you the new owner?

    I wanna know...

Not wanting him back but i miss him.... :(

  3. So Today is a sad day for me... No longer gonna be a Lupo driver tho i really wanna get a 'My first car was a Lupo' Sticker for the back on my new car... Which is a 06 plate VW Polo before anyone asks, in Blue its only a 1.2 but i'm sure it'll be just as nippy as good olde Loopy...

Gonna miss this guy, best 2 years of my life... :D

    #WhyDon'tTheyMakeLupo'sAnymore???

Saving up for an Up tho as as far as i can see its just a modern Lupo so in a few years time hopefully i'll be proud to say i drive Lupo's Grandson...

That is all Peoples, I will miss being a part of this community it really is like a big family and we all wave to each other when we see each other.

I'll still wave to you guys (or salute i dunno which) if i see any of you so yeah don't be alarmed just little old me paying tribute to a beautiful piece or German engineering...

    Live Long and Prosper Lupos!!!!

  4. Pretty cool :)

    just a few things.

    1. TRY and invest in a better jack & stands. Widowmaker jacks are prone to falling over which would be dangerous!

    2. Wheel trims are pretty simple to spray :)

Wish i left my car standard. done very few Modifications to mine but whenever i do do somthing, somthing else come along and breaks!

I have a trolley jack but i didn't know where the safe place to put it was... And spraying them could be a plan...

looks good, i wanna take my speedo bit off but it wont undo! and NEVER USE THOSE JACKS, mine slipped and wrecked the sills on mine, since then always use a trolley jack, heed my warning!

Are you using the right screwdriver setting coz its not a regular Philips or star... yeah i have a trolley jack but as i said before i couldn't work out where hte safe place to put it was...

  5. So I feel like updating this not done much lately... well ok i got a new fuel filter to try and sort my engine management problem... still not fixed... :/

Anyways i got a week job, delivering yellow pages oh all things (never again!!!) I manged to get them all in the back of the Lup...

So yeah during my 3 day stint doing this i had to drive along a back road covered in muck!! Car stank to high heaven... Not even kidding!

I waited til i'd finished and then went and gave him his first power wash/wax (still not sure i did it right, but twas my first time so don't judge...)

    SAM_5238-1.jpg

Mucked up/ make a lovely new patern on! One of my wheel trims... I canny park/ the pavements are rally high where i was...

    Front View...

    SAM_5240-1.jpg

    Up on the jack...

    SAM_5249.jpg

Which subsequently put a slight whole in the tarmac (was a hot day) terrible picture i know...

    SAM_5251.jpg

Took the stupid 'Powered by V-Tech?' sticker of the backend... was coming off anyways... and yes thats the poor guys trolley in the background! :L

    SAM_5263.jpg

Last one... A picture of my New Radio... I have half-fixed the cut wire problem but not quite...

    SAM_5260.jpg

thinking of making the VW sign permanent... :)

    Thats all! :)

  6. That's to expensive for me buddy, keep getting raped for insurance. Gonna do it myself, my dads a welder so he can weld the old one for a temp fix then i'll get the new one which is more solid. Cheers for letting me know though ;)! How did you know it was the pedal box btw?

I didn't is the honest answer... it went in for a new clutch but it was actually needing a new pedal box. I had managed to put a crack in the old one... Supposidily pedal boxes are a problem on VW's... :/

  7. Was looking through Ebay at Lupo's today and came across this one...

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-VOLKSWAGEN-LUPO-1-4-S-GREY-/290726171364?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DDLSL%252BSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BUA%26otn%3D10%26pmod%3D250847696659%252B250847696659%26po%3D%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D9067606943151144029#ht_500wt_1287

2003 1.4S Grey.... Looks good... and if i wasn't so sevearly skint i would probably go for it...

Just wondering who's (if anyones) it was because its a nice looking car to say the least.

  8. its not that bad, it will leak a bit but to stop people stealing fuel it wont empty the tank and probably wont let any fuel out from the tank, just what's in the Lines.

Have a go :) will save you some money!

Ah ok thats not as bad as it sounds in the book.... Still its the whole risk factor... Tho i do know folk who would help me change it... so we'll see

I changed mine, just keep your face away from it when you pull off the pipe from the fuel tank (the rear one) or you'll get petrol in your face - it stings & gives you a headache if you get it in your eyes like I did  Actually I think the Haynes manual tells you a couple of ways of depressurizing the system first, forgot to take mine with me or I'd have done so.

Yeah i'm thinkning face protection and gloves if i do it... :L Yeah it does... i just haven't read them yet! :L

  10. So i finally got around to getting the codes read.... Fuel Filter problem.... Brilliant... and the Haynes Manuel (for the Polo) says 'many of the operations described in this chapter involve the disconnection of fuel lines which may cause an amount of fuel spillage' Yeah i don't think i'm going to be doing that myself... as much as i'd like to, i think its too much of a risk...

  11. Sooo I finally got my car back! Along with a MASSIVE box of Thorntons chocs for all the hastle...(also discovered i can actually fit my bike in the back, which is good)

In the end up... after it went in for a new clutch... its never actually got one...

Somehow in the last 8 months i've managed to put a crack in the pedal box... so i put it in on the friday, he didn't start taking all the dash and stuff out til the monday (i ended up being on public transport all week which was rubbish) Then he encountered the Pedal Box problem... so the new one came in on tues afternoon... then wednesday... there was another problem, the brake spring had sprung! No idea where it went so he had to fix that... phoned him on the thurs... he was waiting on some 'Information' and i would get it back n friday... Which in actuallity i finally did!!

Drove it home tho, and i'm not very sure if it was me switching from a bike to car, or not having it all week but I'm possitive he just swapped the car for a new one... Drivings emense now... Have to double check 1st and reverse tho coz i can never tell which is which anymore (reverse used to crunch in...)

So anyways i have my wee car back... Taking him on a run to Edinburgh today (to see if he still hates the motorway, has a tendense to yell over 50..)

  12. Hopefully getting the car back tonight... Turns out it needed a new Pedal Box as well... Worst Luck... I'm already skint enough... and i was saving up for my insurance next year... but now its all gonna be spent on a stupit clutch and pedal box! :( gutted...

  13. So managed to sort most of the scrapes and bumps on my car before it went into the garage on friday, he's getting a new clutch, was meant to get it back today for college tomorrow, but i doubt i'm gonna get it now...

Total missing the wee dude right now... :(

    I WANT MY CAR BACK!!!

  14. Pretty sure I managed to count 40+ a good few nights ago. I never see you kicking about! Flash me or wave next time :).

Thats sounds kinda normal... Corsa's like the most popular car for new drivers.... or anyone for that matter... tho Vdub's are better! :)

Lol thats probs coz i only really go from home to college and back again... and i will! :)

  15. Not been having much luck wi the car lately...

Last week (i think it was last week?) yeah last wednesday i got a nail in my tyre...

    Photo0269.jpg

Then my dad took it out and told me the clutch is going (finally after 3 years) so its booked in for this friday, should get it bck for the tues... (gonna make me skint but hey ho)

Then today.... well... i... erm crashed it...

    Photo0272.jpg

Don't ask how i managed it coz i don't really know.... had to phone my dad to come and move it coz i was too scared i was gonna make it worse...

What it looks like now ( with no t-cut before anyone asks)

    Photo0277.jpg

So yeah i think i came off kinda lucky, and the other guy hasn't phoned yet so double yeah (touch wood)

All i realy have damage wise is:

    A dink out the mirror

    SAM_4813.jpg

A scrape along the door and bump strips

    SAM_4810.jpg

A scrape on the rear arch

    SAM_4819.jpg

And my rear bump strips hanging off slightly...

    SAM_4814.jpg

Starting to think the other guy maybe came off worse...

But anyways, gonna be t-cutting it soon, maybe even wi 'blue cut' but we'll see...

  16. Retail park = Corsa park.

Go up there one night and count how many Corsa's you see, especially the 'limited' edition models.

Ah right!! There is a ton of corsa's that is true. I was beggining to wonder where is this cool new park all the kids are talking bout! :L

Oh i saw your car in the car park today its looking nice! :)
