  1. Jealous? the arches were battered!! lol Its pretty easy mate... just work logically and always think measure twice, cut once. i got it from a local fabric store down my road...1.5m x 4.5m meters cost me like 42quid.
  2. When you take out the rear bench theres kind of a slot which i perched the wood inbetween. doesnt move...rigid as a rock!! Cheers dude, trying to keep it subtle
  3. Finished my boot build last night, nothing amazing... nice and subtle
  4. Attempted at fitting my manifold this afternoon. only to find i bought the wrong one... DOH! (teach me to rush into a sell on ebay)... however, fitted my BMC CDA and it sounds amazeballz. - 421 decat manifold for sale - never been fitted. bought wrong one (doh)... does not fit 100bhp block, engine code AUB. fits all other models. got it brand new and comes with gaskets and all bolts needed. £100+pp... located in exeter devon. 07972880836 VOLKSWAGEN POLO 1.4 AKP AUD ANW AUD 99-04 STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST DECAT MANIFOLD Manufactured from T304 grade polished stainless steel CNC Machined flanges for strong solid support Professionally made This de cat manifold will improve throttle response and increase power by up to 10BHP by letting the exhaust system to breath easier Fantastic high quality stainless steel that we guarantee you will not be dissapointed with. 6. Seriously cannot believe how haggered your arches are... not even silly fitment!
  7. Cheers for the positive vibes!! Got a little present in the post this morning... On other news, bought a BMC CDA air intake which im picking up this weekend. I'll update my thread once its installed onto the car this weekend. That camber is needed up front so i can turn as its basically sat on rim...
  8. Yeah, rear adjusters are out and 2 coils have been cut off. Cheers dude - dont you follow me on instagram?
  9. IM BACK!!.. After a shot while away from a Lupo i missed it so much i had to get another!! For those who remember me from last time, this is my old Lupo sport Jasper. This is what distracted me for 7-8months...5dr 6n2 polo on rota grid v, 8j et0, 7j et20. Anyway... this is my new car!! Another lupo sport Sold the polo and bought this the same day, the drive home was amazing. Will be updating the thread in a few weeks... but for the mean time. - Momo team 300mm, Black mk4 interior, Joey'd headlights, tinted indicators, removed HiDs, chassis notch... 421 decat manifold will be here in a few days and straight through exhaust will be built in the new few weeks as my back box is leaking/ blowing a good'n. Wheels have been sourced and will be bought in a week or two... but for the meantime, this is the plan. 16x7.5j et 25+et35 Bortbet T...165/40/16 all round.
  10. Nah i sold the car before i could be bothered to sort that side of things out. i reckon all you would need to do is space the sub axle then camber it? should be fine after that.. i was trying to run silly camber though! 4washers on front bolt, 3 on the back! so thats probably why
  11. Reminds me of my little lupo, the 100bhp model is so much nicer than the valver
  12. Yeah i had a little problem with the brakepad carrier hitting the caliper!!.. im sure if i spent a day on it it could work!
  13. It's currently on lowering springs and standard alloys, but ill be putting the grids on with fresh coilies.
  14. I've been offered a swap for my polo in exchange for my old lupo which has now been resprayed and fixed. Soooo i guess the question is....SWAP OR NO SWAP
  15. YEP!!! pretty much, the polos been notched so wasnt running a lot of clearance at all. sooo it was 2 way street...on coming car/ not enough time to stop or swerve out the way BANG
  16. I had the perfect car lined up, was a cheeky white lupo sport with only 58k on the clock for £1700. Then i had my little mishap with devons finest roads and that means i can no longer sell the polo until i replace the dashboard/ airbgas/ subframe/ wishbone. Dont worry, ill be back into a lupo in no time... The wheels are getting refurb'd gloss candy white. Maybe they'll make a return on another car in the future
  17. For those who are interested in my progress (mods shout at me if im in the wrong posting this) but here is what my polo currently looks like............I WANT MY LUPO AGAIN! HAHA. Then i hit a manhole cover and did this... ...The joys of low cars <3
  18. Looking good so far, i miss mine!!!! 50/50 whether i should sell my polo and get another lupo ....what are you doing to me
  19. I havent been stopped once in all my years of driving *touches wood*
  20. at night time you really cant tell a difference.. just in the day time theyre yellow instead
  21. Yeah dude, nothing better than knowing the car your driving is built exactly to your liking... no new car, or another car bought can replace that feeling, its why im regretting selling my lupo for such silly money. got myself a white 6n2 now and yeah ive only had it for less than a month, totally got no love for the thing. i need...infact, WANT my sport back. maybe just another colour in better condition/ spec!! you thought about tweaking/ playing around with the engine bay at all?
