To upgrade from a Punto to this was an extra £222 for the remainder of the year, which is until the middle of July. My quote for next year from the same company (Elephant), with two years NCD and no accidents or claims was £1200. Not too bad, but still a hell of a lot when you think about it. Gonna shop around though, maybe try some of the companies that advertise in the back of the VW mags. Thanks for the compliments, I like it too!

If i pump the the drivers seat all the way down, when I go over speed bumps or the brow of a hill, or brake or accellerate hard, then the seat sometimes 'dips' a little bit. If I sit in the seat and jump up and down a little bit, you can feel the seat moving. If I raise it almost to the highest setting then this stops, but the seat feels too high for me, I like to sit low, so it feels like a go-kart style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> . Is it supposed to do this? Do I just have the seat set too low? I'm just a bit worried as I think it could be dangerous in the event of an accident. Thanks in advance for any help.

www.puntomk2.co.uk is the best forum I've found, as it's dedicated to only mk2 and mk2b Punto's. I've got a 1.2 8v at the moment, but I'm hoping to get a Lupo Gti very soon. Have a look in the HGT section and it will have common faults and suchlike. Good luck.
