  1. That cat needs a vet. As for the Punto, I guess that if the sticker on the front window is a factual statement the car would get you what you desire I wouldn't have the cojones to drive a motor like that...
  2. It the £150 posted? Do you know the paint code for the black?
  3. You have flashing white lights for indicators and if you have a crash are gonna get bent over by your insurer.
  4. An adjustable Harley one. Can be baffled or straight through. Electronic or manual versions.
  5. Just noticed someone on eBay breaking a 3L. I've no connection with seller. Bit rich for me at £335 for boot lid and same again for doors!
  6. Ah cool. Cheers. Lol it'd been a bit of a ****ter if I'd put gearbox oil on a dry clutch
  7. That mean I should get the gearbox oil changed? Got knows what crap could've gone in there
  8. I was poking about in the engine bay and noticed this part was uncapped. I found the cap and popped it back in. It seemed to be right over the clutch plate? Any ideas for sure? I can't believe the garage left it like that, but it seems they must have, as the cap was trapped under wires. If they did it's been since November Any likely issues?
  9. Yeah, you hold the key in the unlock position to open the windows and hold it in the lock position to close windows (and sunroof if you have it). Is the drivers lock removed or faulty?
  10. Not sure on the exhaust front, my 52 plate (BBY engine) has a pre cat at the manifold and the main cat in the usual place. Are both your cars the same engine code? I think I read AFKs don't have the two cats? It is possible VW added in the extra cat between your 99 and their 01.
  11. Yeah, my Corolla had that, after I fitted a K&N I removed the battery to clear the memory and ragged the tits off it get it to use the performance map. Made a big difference tbh.
  12. If you are tightening wheel bolts the general advice is to check them a few days to a week later and re-torque them. Washers for camber is pretty ghetto and gonna stress the hell out of your wheel bearings.
  13. Aye, sorry I wasn't digging at you, but I genuinely have had people driving like this and either brake at roundabouts or traffic lights, where, because the heater has been on, there is a nice layer of water to lubricate the flow of the snow onto the window. Then they panic when the snow is too heavy for the wipers to clear. Its really dangerous and sooo easy to avoid.
  14. I love watching people drive like this and then become completely blind when they brake. Not. I always clear the roof before I head off. I'm really missing the snow. Not had any at all.
  15. Gearboxes the same? Wheels and tyres the same rolling radius? Clutch ok? Binding brakes?
  16. How does that sit with the new MOT rule "The vehicle will fail the test if any airbag fitted as original equipment is obviously missing or defective."
  17. Can any of you get out your doors if you park beside a kerb? I'm at stock (aka 4x4) height and only have half an inch under my door at some of the pavements here.
  18. Velvia is awesome. Got some out of date in the fridge. Tried XP2? I like it if you rate it about ISO250 instead of 400.
  19. My artist recommends slapping it when itchy. My problem is I'm a bit of a chewbacca and it's the hair growing back that drives me NUTS! What do you all use for healing? I like Tattoo Aftercare. My Mrs used Bepanthen on the recommendation of the lassie that did her tattoo and it scabbed like ****. Tattoo Aftercare seems to not scab.
  20. FM = 300, Sin City, Daredevil, Batman, Ronin. AM = Watchmen, From Hell, League of Extraordinary Gentleman, V for Vendetta, Batman, Swampthing, WildC.A.T.S. HalfofZero know of anyone that specialises in comic tattoos in Scotland?
  21. I was lucky/unlucky depending how you look at it, but with an October birthday a lot of my driving lessons in Perth were in the snow, so right from day one I've been used to it.
  22. Did you need to enlarge the centre bore, or are the spacers not hubcentric?
