  1. I'm after the rear pillar trim driver's side (you have pop outs right?), the fuel filler flap and a black plastic seatbelt cover thingumy if they are all available? Can you pm me a price posted?
  2. Got a website or portfolio can look at?
  3. I loved my Toyo Proxes I had on my last car. I got over 18k miles off them and still had 5mm tread left. Personally I think the Toyos are quite narrow compared to other tyres I had on the same set of wheels and have very vertical sidewalls in comparison. Like |__| as opposed to (__)

    Hi

Picked her up tonight. From my transit van feel like I'm driving a go-kart! Its a black 52 plate SE with a 1.4 BBY engine and Suzuka alloys. 70k miles. 1 owner. Every tax disc and MOT. All services done, but not all stamped in book (ditzy lady owner!) Interior is grey/green. Pedal box went and was done under warranty. I think a lot of options were ticked. Got opening quarters, sun roof, cd, the doors already autolock so I don't need to worry about re-programming them. A few things: Drivers window doesn't always go fully down. Regulator? Not much difference in engine speed between 4th and 5th? Clutch? Exhaust a wee bit blowy at front. Gun gum job? Front wiper arms need a spray of matt black. 1 rust spot in centre of bonnet, couple of scrapes and dings. They got a mechanic to check it out before I got it and he recommended doing front brakes. Did replace clutch cable. Missing rear driver's side trim panel (been like that since she got it. Arnold Clark delivered it with the roof dented from the transporter! After repairing roof the trim was never there) I don't think I did too bad for a grand? Oh and handily enough all the bulbs are same size as my transit so I can swap over my H4 Nightbreakers, de-tangoed chrome indicators and my w5ws too before I punt it.
  5. I'm pretty cheap and have discovered Lidl grapefruit degreaser spray works a treat on interior plastics.
  6. I've found the search facility here really pants. Eg can't search for 1.4 and the likes because 3 character string limit. I use google: eg type this into search box: 1.4 site:http://forums.clublupo.co.uk

    Hi

Ubuntu on the desktop, Lubuntu on the netbook. I can get it running with Wine, cheers. Now I just need my mate to get his thumb out his bum and sell me the car already! I hope he's not having second thoughts. Waiting on a valet apparently :-(
  8. Not my cup of tea, but 1000 minifig stickers for £3 in Asda. Same book as this http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO%C2%AE-Minifigure-Ultimate-Sticker-Collection/dp/1405367113/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1314627308&sr=8-1
  9. Yeah I saw that on ebay. Wish I could get it. Brassick the now though. Just clocked you are a Perth man, lived there for years
  10. Sorry for the thread resurrection! I had a look at the How To and the VCDS-lite site. The unregistered version can only access the first 9 channels, and since the tutorial is using channel 35 then you'll need the full version. You can buyt it for $99 but not sure it'll work with ebay cables, the full version with the cable is $249. Since I can't justify that outlay just to play with my locks is there anyone in central belt Scotland who offers the service for a smaller fee? Whether it is someone from forums or non main dealer? I've got a couple of cables that I've used to read OBDII codes with free apps (scantool and pyobd on Ubuntu) but doesn't look like there are any cheap legal options for Adaptations? [edited for spelling]

    13'S

I'm in love with minilites in 13 x 7, but no way I could run them as I put in a lot of miles over Scottish B roads and the only cars I've seen look good with the 13x7s are so low they look like you'd leave a trial of cats eyes behind you

    Hi

I'm picking up my Loopy next week. She's 9 and has a full service history, a 1.4SE, all bog standard. She's a bit tatty, scratches on the outside and dog wear on the inside. Buying her from a mate. I think she was pretty well specced with CD, fogs, sunroof and I think opening quarter windows. Thanks to the guides and how-tos on here I've picked up a new heating resistor (only works on 4) and bolts for the passenger door strap. I got a 99 relay as I loved that wiper feature on a Felicia I had many moons ago. I also need to replace a missing headrest and the lever to flip the passenger seat forward. I'd love G60 wheels instead of the SE Suzukas, and coil overs but that'll be insurance dependant. I'd also like to do some of the vag com stuff like anti-hijack locks (love them on my Tranny) but not sure as I use Linux, I heard VCDS-Lite can be made to work. Anyway, "Hi" and thanks for all the useful info already
