    Lupo 1.0E Breaking

I've just had a quick look on eBay and the cup holders are listed for around 35. £20 excluding postage for that. £10 for the door cards and parcel shelf. Does that seem reasonable? I'll get some pictures up at some point this evening as well.

    Lupo 1.0E Breaking

In all honesty I'm not sure what they're all worth! Offers?
  3. Hi all, i've stripped out my Lupo. I've got lots of interior parts available, and some exterior: Seats (Blue/Dark Grey)Cup holder/coin traySeatbelts F&RParcel shelf (dark grey)Rear door cardsC pillar trimStandard radioAirbagsAirbag control unitSteering wheelHeater resistorHeated rear window buttonHeater controlsAerialRear window wiper motor & armBasically most of the interior. There is bound to be some not listed above. Either collection from Wigan, or i can post some of the items.
  4. Rear beam available? (Sorry in advance if it's been mentioned above- not read through!)
  5. more updates this weekend. Stripped the wiring loom down and removed things no longer needed such as heater controls, door speakers/switches, rear wiper, airbag controller. Then re-wrapped the loom to make it look neat again. Also added a master switch. Made 3 panels to cover the holes in the centre console piece. This will be used for housing switches etc... Also test fitted the new steering wheel. (You can just about see the panel in the background) Made a start on removing the bitumen pads off the chassis! Sprayed various trim pieces on the dash to matt black to reduce glare, looks better also.
  6. This weekend I've got the dashboard out, removed the passenger side airbag, and the whole heater system, it was really big and heavy (also unnecessary!) Also cut away the lower half of the dashboard and left in just the top half. Also put my bonnet pins in and removed the bonnet catch.
  7. Hi all, been a while since I've been on this forum! Used to drive a fantasia green lupo E for my first car! Been itching for a while to start a project off and get into rallying. Happened to get my hands on another lupo E for a reasonable price, and decided instead of selling it on/using it as a daily I'd use it as a base for a project! The car was a lupo 1.0 E. Standard car. The plan is to do the minimum to meet regulations to begin with, and then progress from there. Going to be leaving the 1.0 engine in initially and then as time/money allows upgrade to either 1.4/1.6 class. Over the weekend I've began stripping out the interior. Car mainly stripped out: Didn't realise there was this much in it! Removed radio and speakers today. Began wrapping the colour coded bits of the dash in Matt black to reduce glare on the window. The plan is to fabricate a panel to cover the double din hole where the radio is usually located, and house all the switches in here. Next up is to remove all the bits of bitumen from the chassis and roof. Then next on the list will be to install a roll cage, to see what mods need to be done (if any) to the dash for it to fit. Ordered a battery master switch with 6ft pull cord today as well. There's going to be a lot of work involved but it will be worth it when I get there! If anyone's after any interior bits, please let me know! Watch this space!
  8. This is in good condition, selling due to stripping car for a project! One cup holder/ one coin tray for mounting underneath the double din for the radio. After £25 posted ideally (I've seen how silly overpriced these things can be- especially from the dealers!). No pictures at the minute however I can get some if needed. Located in Wigan. 6N2858569A
  9. I don't have a double, however I do have a single cup holder/coin tray available. Obviously this isn't what you were originally after, but if you are interested please PM me!
  10. Fixed the problems, (No light back on for 150 miles anyway!) Replaced the EGR valve, along with the first lambda sensor in the exhaust manifold. Runs so much better and idles better as well! Happy! Had the dash inserts coloured so will get a picture uploaded later. Going to wire up a OEM boot light soon when I get the chance as well.
  11. there was a crack in the cat which was causing a fault on the lambda sensor, welded this up and reset the warning light. It has been fine till today, the warning light re-illuminated. Plugged it in at work, came up with a few EGR faults (can't remember exactly what they were) cleared them off just to ensure they weren't old codes. Got home, rescanned car and it came up with 16517 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1 P0133 - 35-10 - Response too Slow - Intermittent The car has been driving fine. Can anyone shed some light on whether or not it would be the EGR, or the lambda sensor causing this faults? IE "Red Herring" as they say. Planning on either taking the EGR off myself and cleaning it, or having it done at work, along with throttle body. Is it worth changing the sensor? And which one would this code relate to?
  12. When i bought the 1.0 Lupo for my girlfriend, there was a crack in the cat which was causing a fault on the lambda sensor, welded this up and reset the warning light. 13. Hi everyone, so 2 years ago for my first car at 17 I had a Fantasia Green 1.0e. currently driving a 6r Polo R line, and loving it! Bought a silver 1.0e last week for my girlfriend. 55000 miles, in very good condition! Came with mudflaps, and the cupholder/coin tray under the radio. Blue seats got it with the engine light on, turned out to be the cat causing it. There was a split in the middle cat which caused the sensor in the exhaust to flag a fault. Welded this up, Reset the warning light, no issues as yet! It flew through it's MOT! Problems when I got it Engine light / Cracked cat Heater only worked on full speed - replaced resistor, works fine now. door lock only operable from inside on passenger door - fixed the lock cylinder components, replaced lock carrier, all works fine again! The passenger door does seem marked though as if someone has tried to get in, explains the snapped lock components! Lovely little car, drove it to the lakes yesterday with no issues at all! Will upload pictures later When we first got it home! Clean inside new lock carrier re-trimmed worn trim pieces before After
  14. Hi, this is like mentioned above a piece of the lock carrier! I've had mine fall out literally yesterday when changing the door lock! Nightmare to fit back in, easier removing the carrier from the door to do it as well! In the end I got a new carrier, didn't have the patience
  15. Right so been driving the car since wednesday, miles better than the old engine! Glad to be back in it, felt weird at first going from a 12 plate polo to a 12 year old car! Everything currently is as it was before it broke. Need to get together just a bit more money then will be getting coilovers done! However one thing is slightly different... Just need to get focusing on changing the things I want to
  16. Yep, wanted to put something bigger in but my dad wouldn't let me. Least its back on the road though I suppose
  17. honestly i completely forgot to take pictures. But the engines been in, runs fine . Spent qutie a long time recently rewiring in some footwell lights, putting speakers back in and my amp . But all inside is filthy, so will need to get it all cleaned back up to standard then pics will be up however...
  18. Yeahhh erm not allowed cos of the contract. But think I might get rid of it after a few months anyway, cool as it is having 2 cars at 18 I just want to focus on just one .
