What's best way round my gear box problem then guys. Juts third is playing up. It will go in but won't ingauge

So evan if my gtis a 5 speed the 1.4s 5speed box won't fit

On my gti I have lost third. But I have been offers a 1.4s gear box 5speed which is same as the gti just woundering weather it would fit Thanks guys

iv been down to my fav garage to have look at a lupo convertion started life as 1.4 the 1.4s then gti then gti supercharged and now a gti turbo the turbos to big so needs smaller turbo. but been giving myself some ideas and the misses wasnt to hard to talk in to them as she loves dump valves but all depends on price now
