    What tyres?

Hey guys, I know there is a thred for this already, but they all seem pretty crazy! Im looking for some advice on what size I should go for? Borbet T 14, 7J & 8J Im looking for a bit of stretch, nothing too major. There tyres on when I bought were 185 55 14, these look pretty silly and rubbed like mad. So I'm after something I can still run the car low with, without scrubbing. Any idea? Thanks, Saul.
  5. Awesome! Il check tomorrow mate, what colours do they come in? How much you looking for with P&P?
  6. Nice one mate, My car only came with one, in the passenger door pocket it kept falling off, so after loosing it for the third time I decided to glue it into pace! Not sure it's the right way, il check lol! Need to locate another one, I'm certainly not paying, £9.00 or whatever on eBay lol!
  7. Serweet! Think I know what you mean there! So theres deffo a left and right?
  8. Hi guys pretty random this, can someone please post a picture of the correct way round that the seat handles go? Im talking about the ones used to collapse the seat to get into the back. Thanks, Saul.
  9. Boom! There we go, thanks very much guys! Right to now find me someone with VAGCOM or ROSS-TECH VCDS! I have a lumpy idle mate, been following another post on here with the same issues, but he came to no conclusion. Engine runs fine for a few minutes, then idles rough, does the hunting up and down when a little acceleration is given. I followed your guide on EGR cleaning, a very good guide my I add! If this is so where the throttle body needs re-aligning after cleaning/removal then my problem may have been solved without me knowing, until it has been re-aligned. Thanks, Saul.
  10. Can anyone give me an answer? Would this be the case, my throttle body was completely removed and cleaned! Would this need a re-calibration with VAGCOM? Thanks, Saul.
  11. Thanks mate, yeah I pretty much did the same as you cleaning wise, however I also took mine off completely as well. Also today followed Defcon5's guide on EGR cleaning! Made no difference. Last night I read somewhere that a throttle body alignment was needed after its been removed? I no that this option is available on the Ross-Tech VCDS? Thanks, Saul.
  12. Hi guys, I have recently cleaned out my throttle body, this was caked in carbon gunk as many have said! However this did not solve my running problem. Can anyone tell me, does the throttle body need to be aligned with VAGCOM? or is it something that the ECU would sort out itself? Thanks, Saul.
  13. Thanks for that mate! Yeah, the guy in the garage said it would be fitted to the air intake! I'l get pricing a MAF up! Thanks
  14. Sorry to post in here as well as the Arosa specific section, Just feel this could be answered here as well! Hi Guys, after a visit to the garage today, I was advised on getting a new mass airflow sensor, as my idle is very lumpy, up and down and also a slow response on the accelerator pedal! Could someone please tell me the difference, which I actualy have, the MAF or MAP? Or if anyone has had this issue? Seat Arosa 1.4 16v Thanks, Saul.
