  1. components are your best bet. coaxial speakers are cheaper but no where near as good
  2. ideally, yes. Components will nearly always have a matched amp thats been designed to get the best from them. Other amps will work fine but will perhaps not be as clear and distort at a lower level

    1.4TSI Conversion!

They basically said that new legislation has been approved for them to add an age appropriate rating to selected cars and the leon cupra was in that. They are also hiking prices up when renewal is due because of a high rise is young drivers claiming on high powered cars... Their basically beating me for all i have for as many years as possible . Very tight is good, i like it tight Seems like a lot of hassle tbh but in my opinion the 1.4 is too slow and boring.. the GTi is what 30BHP more than the 1 4 sport so i cant see this being much better..? and the cheapest GTi i can find with savage milage for the price is 4.5k on at 85k. so an engine swap is the only decent way to go right? and i gues.. theres no replacement for displacement in the end

yeah true but the thought of 225BHP in a lunch box scares me a little lol. Plus ive got insurance to think about, tried for a 1.8t leon cupra the other week and a general consensus due to new legislation in the car insurance industry is i cant get insured until im 27! ffs. im 22 now and have 4 years no claims. Kents. anyway i figure 170 BHP will be more than enough and be very hard to follow. Ive finally found another thread somewere after trawling through google and theres alot of people skeptical about the size of the engine and whether or not it would actually fit. Apparently its deeper from front to back than an R32 Mental

    1.4TSI Conversion!

Hello, ive been snooping around on here for a few weeks now trying to find any information on putting the new range 1.4 turbo engines into a lupo but cant seem to find anything on it. I was just wondering if ity would be a reasonably straight swap, with the mounts and everything else. my plan is to basically pillage a 1.4TSi including the gear box and put it into my lunch box lupo lol. I figured this would be a much easier and more logical swap than putting a 1.8T in there, with weight, sheer size and all the rest.. Any and all help appreciated.. Josh
