My other halfs arosa has sprung a leak! It looks to be coming from the head, but not the head gasket. Are there any common areas to check first? Rocker gasket, cam seal etc?? Thanks Tom

Fixed it! The mechanism had fallen apart! 10 minutes and a new C clip had it fixed!!

Damn! Best get the tools out tomorrow and have a look proper look

Hi guys My mrs just came home and said her seat won't lock back down after she's got her crap outta the back! I've go e out to have a look see but I can't get it to lock down! Is there a common fault with the seats? I've searched but can't find anything :/

Its thrown up a flashing engine management light a few times before, but nothing consistent! I didn't get a chance to check the codes today, but I'll try tomorrow! Plugs/leads/coil have been changed!

My gf has a 2003 1.0 arosa, the car is awesome but it seems to idle really low and the car kind of shakes when idling! I've serviced it, changed the leads and coil pack but it still idles low! What else could be changed to fix this problem? The codes were read prior to the coil pack and it was "random misfire detected" I haven't checked the codes since changing the coil, will checking and clearing make it ok??

Checked them and the connections were fine! Disconnected the battery for 10 minutes and then they were ok again! :-/ Odd!

Forgot to mention, this happened after we jump started it! It hadnt been used for a while!!

My sister has a 1.0 lupo that she's trying to sell, but yesterday the dashboard just stopped working! There's no speedo, no revs, no fuel or temp gauges and no lights either! All the fuses appear to be ok Please help!!

By no lights I mean no error lights! Sorry for the confusion!!

Hi people, I just picked up a flash red, 51 plate, 1.4E for my sister yesterday, FSH, 30k 1 previous owner for £2100 I took it for a drive, was well, paid the money and we took it home, but now it's developed a problem in the 20 mile drive home! When you start the car, sometimes there is no throttle response, yet you turn it off, and start it again and everythi g is fine! There are no lights on the dash when it happens! Anyone had a similar problem?? Tom

Hi guys! I made an MDF shelf for my mrs arosa today, using some edge 6x9s i had kicking about because she was complaining about poor sound quality in the car! no now ive done this i need to wire them up, but ive tried searching and i can't seem to find anything about wiring them in! I know that the lupo GTI's come with speakers in the rear quarter trims, does this mean that there will be wires behind the trim that i can cut and splice into? or will i have to run a complete loom to the head unit?? thanks Tom

Thanks guys! She's always liked this blue! But whenever we've seen them they were auto! When I saw this in manual she had to get it!! It's such a small little car! I quite like it! And I'm not a euro fan! Will be interesting building up a smooth clean euro car instead of a lairy turbo Jap beast!!
