  2. This weekend Lupo got some new eyes Bought me a set of dark tinted headlights and flashers from germany. Also got me a set of Leds for parkinglight and licenseplate. Here´s how it looks: Before After
  3. The AHW cant be replaced by a BBY from a Polo 9N cause, as yo say the starter is located behind the engine on yor AHW and Polo for ex. has it loctaded in front of the engine. Also, the bolt pattern for the gear box is different so your 085-gearbox wont fit on a BBY. The engine you can replace a AHW with is the AUA prom a Lupo or Polo 6n/6n2. It will fit perfect but there is one thing thats need modification. The EGR-valve is mounted at the side of the head on AUA and on AHW it is on the exhaustmanifold. VW has thougt of it and there is a spare to buy from your orginalparts dealer, it´s a lid that blocks the EGR hole in the head on AUA. Buy a new casket there as well.
  4. Thank you, thank you! I haven´t put so much work to fit them, just rolled the fenders out a bit and TA-technix coilovers. It´s not hard in the suspension and it dont scrape so much at all, of course they do touch the wheelarces sometimes but mostly its the the right rear innerfender thats made from fabric that has the nearest contact with the wheel They are 17*7" with et37. My old engine is made by me last winter. Its internals are: * Lupo sport 100hk rods and pistons, engineblock and crank are 75hk AHW * Head from AUS 1.6 Golf engine * Inletmanifold in alu. from AUS or homemade inletmanfold with R1 trottlebodies. * Exhaustmanifold are AHW standard ported and modified to fit larger frontpipe. * Standard untouched engine ECU but with Polo 1,6 injectors and extra FPR set to 0,5bar higher pressure. * New berarings and pistonrings and all new gaskets of course. * Cams from 1,6 Gti on exhaust and orginal exhaustcam moved to inlet instead. The engine produced 105hp and 143nm on dyno with AUS Alu.manifold and 60mm trottlebodie from AKL. Haven´t dynoed it with R1 trottlebodies but this setup needed a standalone management or a custom remap to work properly and higher revlimiter to The engine ran good on higher revs but on idle it was not working well at all (lambda 10,5....) I have the manifold hanging in my garage still, maybe someone will find use for it. At this pics its made to fit mikuni RS36 but now altred to fit R1-trottlebodies.

  7. The total length is: 166mm Diameter of rubber bushing in headcover: 31mm Length of metal part of coil: 112mm Diameter of metal part of coil: 23mm Length of rubber bushing to top of coil: 54mm

  9. That´s right! The old engine is in my garage until the car is finished. That engine was eqipped with: 1,4 lupo sport rod and pistons 1,6 AUS bigport head and intake manifold. Cams from a 1,6 gti engine Exhaustmanifold was orginal Lupo 1,4 but modified and ported. External fuelpressureregulator set to 0,5bar extra pressure on orginal Polo injectors. Full 2"-exhaust with bigger cat. The engine produced 105hp and 143nm on dyno.
  10. I can measure them at work tomorrow. What measurement do you need? Depth, length, around diameter...? By the way, they have changed the number on: 06B 905 115L to 06A-905-115-D Bettter cuality and another maker, think they are Beru now. They look almost the same and have same measurements.
  11. First check passed with minor hints about the fastening of the the rear brakepipes. I´ll haveto mount a couple more clips on the rearaxle for the pipes and then it would be ok. I also maneged to "dress up" the battery with som padding from a Golf Mk5 and half a lid from an LT35. Here´s how it looks.
  12. Thank you, thank you! Today i´ve mended a broken brakepipe at the worst place possible, behind the load sensing valve on the rearaxle. My own fault its broken too... On thursday im getting a visit from the department that handles modifided cars, They do a checkup during the building of the car so it passes as road legal later on. Hopefully there will be no trouble passing the first check.
  13. I started Lupo with th new engine today for the first time. It started directly and ran perfect (without exhaust...) I ran it for about 3 min with no leaks of any kind. Next saturday im going to make the downpipe with cat.
  14. Thanks! Yes there is Lupo Gti´s in Sweden but they are few, maybe 50total i´d say. I could fancy one as daily driver but they are expensive so i have to do with my 1,8t I started Lupo with th new engine today for the first time.   16. Hi! I´m new on this forum but i have owned my Lupo for 3 years. I´m doing a 1,8t 20v conversion on my little green friend this winter and i´m nearly done, only exhaustsystem remaining.
