  4. bigger or smaller wheels then factory tires, will effect your speedo reading, there is a device that plugs into your computer in the car that can fix that problem, not sure then name of it or the price but its out there. It can also increase your HP by anywhere from `1-25` Horses, depending on the size of your engine.
  5. my best on the old car, the teg is gone, was 12.28 on the 1/4. `o-60` i don't know.
  6. Kenwood 7inch in dash motorized TV, i have it wired with the cd, dvd, and ps2, a big tangle of wires i have to say but worth it.
  7. found this pic this morning, its the melted piston and fried piston rings.
  8. well the #1 thing that i would advise for you to get with the turbo is a pressure regulator and a good blow off valve. Just remember that with a turbo, there will have to be maybe other parts needed for your car inorder for it to work properaly.
  9. got the car all repaired again now everyting is all back together, and running fine, ahh puntey the after market turbos for me anyway is no trouble, never had a problem with it yet.
  10. I got an estimate on how much its gonna cost and it will run me about $1500 canadian, the good news is that the turbo was not harmed just the piping, and just this morning she started up, not sounding the best but at least its running, i never tried to move it because the sway bar is not on the car anymore, i have a new one and it will be going on tomorrow, as of now, the rings are not here yet, but the old piping on the turbo is off and the new stuff is ready to go on, so hopefully i'll have her back on the road in 2 to 3 weeks.
  11. I was driving the car yesturday, on a dirt road, it was very dusty, and just my luck the intake gets blocked up, the car starts making noises, but i didn't know what was wrong with it, i just figured it was the fuel again, so i step on it and end up over heating the motor, frying the piston rings, cracked the piping to the turbo and on top of that i hit a hole and busted the sway bar, man i got the worst luck, My cell phone wouldn't work, battery was dead, so i had to walk 7 km in the road to find a phone, call a tow truck and now my baby is in the garage getting some repairs, i will be on the phone tomorrow ordering parts for the teg, hopefully it won't be long again before i'll have it back on the road. I've contacted Acura about it and they told me they won't be able to cover it, because it was not the stock intake that was on the car when i bought it. Wish me luck guys.
  12. sounds like the gears are slippin in the transmition, you really should get that checked out.
  13. QUOTE(Putney)the average engine over here i would guess is probably a 1.6 - 1.8 in england there are so many small cars here. with tiny motors. its because we have the most expensive petrol in the world. its double what you pay. insurance is stupid and road tax is now calcualtor on how much pollution your car kicks out. V8's are rare cars here. most cars are 4 cylinders.but if our priminsiter gets his way with his bum chum bush then we might be able to get some cheap knock off petrol from iraq! but im sure they will tax us ****less. check this out £10 worth of petrol is about 12.30 litres of fuel. was 12.52 litres last week but petrol has just gone up again. £8 of which is tax. which means the petrol station is only selling 2.46 litres of petrol tax free. which they then have to pay company tax on profits. they also have to pay wages for someone to stand there selling it. of which they have to pay employees national insurance. so really petrol staions only make money on people buying other stuff there like sweets cigs mags etc. so every week im paying about £10.50 into the treasureys bank. which aquates to about £400 a year. times that by the number of drivers. and you have more than enough to say maybe take an army abroad with your homo buddy and play war games knocking over an oil supplying counrty. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> kind of lost the plot of the thread there. basically people have a lot smaller cars here cause we get shafted! ??? i don't know how much your money is compared to mine but our gas prices lately is outragious, all because of that cock smoker in the U.S,Bush, that ******* is trying to rule the world and in the process of doing so the ****er has droven gas prices through the roof here in newfoundland, anyway the price of gas here is 92.9 cents a letre, closing in on a dollor, for $10.00 i can only get 10.7L's just last summer gas was only 62.9 cents a letre, needless to say i blame this on george bloomin' bush, and i will praise the day when i see the US get there ass kicked so bad that they shribble up and dissapear.
  14. QUOTE(Putney)yeah sounds very simple. thats more than i have got in my house style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />ok, it is a very simple job compared to some people i know, you guys really need to see these system over here, and thats not all a buddy of mine even got a playstation 2 in his car.
  15. Oh i see i have stumbled onto a site full of comedians, lol, i never really took into play that the lupo is not a very big car and that not alot of stuuf can be put into it, but yet again a friend of mine has a 89 honda crx si and that is not a very large car and he got: 2 750 watt amps a 16" JL audio sub with custom box 5 disc cd changer and a panasonic mp3' player,
