  6. as long as you can get it onto their ramp there should be no issue
  7. pop the bottom door card off (4 torx screws along the bottom and pop-off clips on the top) and you can see the window mech and supports, mine had come off one of the supports/mounts and just needed pushing back on (the mount is on the back side of the white part when you're looking at it, like a square shaped thing you can slide it onto, you'll be able to see/feel it easily enough) had the exact same symptoms as you've described however if that's not the case its probably a faulty motor or a dirty circuit board in the switch that needs cleaning
  8. not read all comments but to add to common faults if they've not been mentioned faulty electric windows (switches or motors), rust on roof gutters, scratches/damage on top of back bumper from loading, heater controls only working on certain settings, probably loads of more but they're the ones I can remember atm basically other than gearbox and pedal box, every other common fault is usually a really cheap fix
  9. might have been chris if it was on standard SE alloys
  10. yeah check your drainage holes behind the scuttle cover (beneath windscreen, behind engine bay) there's 1 on each side, mine got full of leaves etc and where blocked so water could get into the passenger footwell, after I'd cleared them out it didn't happen again
  11. don't think '99 or '00 models have it, maybe '01 too, mine and my mates are 2002 and both have it
  12. theyre 1 piece so youll need to buy a whole sport back bumper
  13. still got these bud? no leaks or cracks? I'm only about 20 mins from you
  14. or man up and get out the angle grinder
  15. yeah I know but I'm after part-worns cos they're cheaper and I'm skint atm
  16. What I mean is they'd only look good if you had the car really low and the wheels where a high enough offset to tuck inside the arches and by rubber band tyres I mean really small tyres with big stretch so 165/40 or 165/45 on them (if they're 7J wide) Basically they'll cost you a load of money and it would be hard to get them sitting well.
  17. cba trawling back through the thread but do you have a video of this driving/the sound it makes I'd love to see/hear it
  18. unless you're tucking rim on them with rubber band tyres, they'll look ****
  19. Looking for some 185/45/15s either a set of 2 or 4 Brand doesnt matter but they have to be at least in pairs of the same brand No damage, cracks, camber wear/uneven tread etc A bit of rubbing marks doesnt bother me, as long as they tyres havent been munched by arch. No less than 4mm tread Thanks, Max
