  1. Just seen a lovely red lupo super low and clean. Dark front badge and wheels, silver roof bars. Gave me a wave when was on my fixie! Hello!
  2. My zebra print material arrived yesterday. Now I just need some ashesive and some spare time. Will post a pic once this is done...
  3. Hi Tom, it's me, Mike who bought your P Slots. (I'm finally getting them fitted this weekend hopefully) You know the centre caps you were on about getting made... did you ever get them done? if not do you know how much they were going to be for custom ones?
  4. good choice. Although I prefer it to the first. I keep tools in my lupo overnight, however I have a sticker which tells people otherwise so I'm fine... nahht. erm. cds, glasses, magic tree and a windscreen scraper which I had to use for the first time this morning
  5. Ok cool, thanks for that. I think I understand. What sort of finish did the carpet adhesive give? did you get many ripples? and did it sag at all with the heat in summer? thanks
  6. Hi, I'm thinking about doing mine, just thought I'd check before tugging the lining clean off... are there any clips that hold the lining on? if not, how does it go back up securely? is it just a snug fit? Thanks
  7. What did you cover the petrol cap one with to make it weatherproof?... Looks pretty smart like
  8. aii, never mind ey? goodnight!
  9. I know what you're getting at but you asked for the reasoning behind it, not why I intended to do it. I told you already it's cos it looks cool. sorry mam
  10. (and you only need to use speech marks if it's a direct quote...)
  11. yeah, wasn't it originally because of a law a german town that made people have their tread underneath the arches, but because people wanted wider wheels on they stretched to get around the law?...
  12. yeah pretty much. it looks cool... ha
  13. Ahh right, that must be quite narrow then! ha. Thanks very much for the advice there, really helpful mate. Cheers
  14. Ah right, thanks very much. So I'm guessing 5.5's pretty thin for a wheel then? My last car was lowered on springs but I've been reading a lot on here about lowering and one of the main things people seem to be saying is that if you want to go lower than 40mm that you should use coilovers. How easy is it to adjust a cheap set of coilovers? Is it something that a garage are going to have to do or is it easy enough? cheers
  15. Hi there! ahh really? hmm. that's a bit of a downer. what's the reason for that? And when you say very low... roughly how low? (is it possible to change the offset by putting spacers or something in, or is this unchangeable, like dependent on the wheel itself? Sorry if that's a stupid question...
