    TDI de-cat?

Just looking to see if anyone has de-cat there 1.4 tdi and wanna know if it was any better? I very much doubt theres any off the shelf so presume its a custom job? Anyone?
  3. ahh, much better. Looks spot on!
  4. Think in standard form the 106 quicksilver looks a better car, but way less quality and comfort. 106 probably handle better standard too. I'd still take the Lupo though.
  5. get pics up! Upload them onto www.photobucket.com then paste the link below pics onto your post
  6. they will look spot on! Mine on 16's
  7. looks proper class! Whats them rims on it? they look cool!
  8. Ive had a blue one, miss it a bit as it was quick and a nice car to drive....value fo muneys too! However, the handling....hmmm I love them though, 17's should look cool.
  9. Yup!! Itll be in the wheel well waiting for you. Done that the other day.
  10. looks like a leon cupra one, bout 20 quid from seat.
  11. Girlfriend hit a rock, smashed clean through sump...about 2-3 inch hole, cracks everywhere. Very lucky she stopped straight away, lost all oil instantly.
  12. Best mk1 ive seen, proper clean. Whats the new rims? cant make em out but they look goood.
  13. Going silly low on 13's will bring its own problems lol, it'll look cool all the way with philj's. Probs get stuck everywhere.
  14. LOL i can believe it. I was trying to get a spare set to chop so had mine to put back in.
  15. Im so tempted, done it before on other cars but has it spoiled the ride much Kam? How many coils did you chop off?
  16. does look a bit "too" high, get the blocks out and also make sure the rear springs are seated correctly and not on the edge of the block or summit?
  17. What he means is, we dont want to admit to anything but heres a few excuses and yes we will re-do them
  18. get somepics up of the back and see if its extra high or just normal for philj.
  19. Is the clunking and pinging from the front, make sure when you dropped the car back down on its wheels that the spring is sat properley at the top. If you went pretty low on the front there may be some slack on the spring, if you just drop it back down when youve finished fitting them then it maybe sat incorrect against the top cup. Ive had that a few times with my old fk coilovers. Jack up and slowly let down making sure its sitting right. The rears on the philj coils dont go very low, fact. Take out the adjuster blocks so the spring sits in the same way as the standard springs did. Gets a little more out of them but not loads. I have the same ones on my arosa, was a little dissapointed, not sure if its only 40mm though, heres mine at the back on 16" alloys though. They have settled a tad lower like, thats with blocks out....still want another 15-20 mil though.
